Bought the Species EV from Mike’s Archery and am impressed with this RTH package, especially at this price point. Shoots very nice and paper tuned at my local shop after the break in process.
Really a complete winner. Sub $375 dollar bow. Smooth, quiet, accurate. The real question is are the $1100 dollar bows 3x better? I mean, 3x better? Not really.
i’ve heard from some reviews about the cable guide slider wearing the string out quickly, would u recommend upgrading it immediately or is this a non issue??
Mike can you tell me if the 2 holes in the top of the cam are the timing marks and if they are when you lower the weight around 45lbs and dr length 25 should they be exact the same as 60 maxed and 29in out of the box?? Thanks
Among BEAR ARCHERY Limitless, Cruzer, and Species. Which would you guys buy for a regular, hobbyist target archer - 27yr adult and regular gym-goer - but a compound bow beginner/newbie? Never touched a compound bow in their life but wants to try and build some skill around it.
Would this bow last me several years as long as it is taken care of? Looking to get one this Friday!! I am torn between bear or pse! I love bear archery equipment. That is what I grew up on. So will it last me?

Yes, this has happened to mine after first 5 months. Serving strings helps, but putting a roller on there can help prevent this.
What if you keep your strings waxed? Would that still be an issue?

The species ev or the White tail Legend what one do you think is better
They are actually the same set up no difference, the whitetail legend just comes in olive drab.

How does this shoot right out of the box? Will it need a professional tune?
I just had to adjust the joker pin sights. Other than that, it was good to go.
I am curious what is the difference between this offering & the Legit. Is it only the Cam system?

Any thoughts on why the Adapt came in much faster than the Species even though they're advertised at the same 320 FPS?
2” longer axle to axle with a shorter brace height should make it hold speeds better and give better performance.

Species 2022 ev It's 390£ in UK and 2020 309£ is it worth extra 81£ ?
The specs on the 2 different generations is huge! 2022 model is a big step up.

Yes if you are not a complete beginner or needing the extra adjustments I would
step up to the Species EV over the Legit.
Is rated five feet faster than the legit why did it shoot slower 287 for the legit to 265 or so for spieces
