Lizzie is like the perfect virtual big sister/best friend everyone needs ❤. She loves all her fans family and strangers alike and always looks out for them. With all the scariness and bad people in the world knowing there’s someone even if it’s a person you’ll never meet that cares for you means a lot. Thank You Lizzie for making your subscribers feel cared for. You’re truly one of the great ones and I’m proud to be a fan ❤

About the JetLag I totally agree. Even for me someone who’s not Bipolar it messes me up. I feel more irritable after I travel I have trouble doing basic things it feels like I’m just not myself I have trouble getting sleep I’m more tired etc. Our brains are used to balance they’re used to normality when we go between time zones or change environments in huge ways it can disrupt that delicate chemistry and mess up a lot for you so I totally understand the idea. Flying can be a lot of fun but it can always be very taxing on us and cause issues for some folks.

Bless you Lizzie. Thanks for sharing and helping others. It's not a problem I struggle with, but I know many people are in need of this kind of content. ❤

Absolutely ❤ there are many people who struggle with mental illness and are afraid to speak about it so Lizzie being so open and forthcoming about her experiences makes others out there feel like they are not alone 😊

I flew from the west coast to London to visit my fiancé and it was so hard to stay awake while in England! His family was wondering why I couldn’t get out of bed…

It makes total sense it’s several hours ahead over there. When it’s 7-8 AM there here it’s nighttime. Our brains our bodies can’t just shift how we operate our patterns and lifestyle at the drop of a hat. We’re a very finely tuned organism humans are exposing us to huge changes in atmosphere living standards temperature or weather or societal norms can be physical and/or emotionally damaging so it’s totally reasonable for you to struggle

this is very informative. my first manic episode happened some weeks after i travelled east through 3 timezones. then there was another tme when i tavelled west through 11 timezones, and i was in a really deep depressive mood. now i have to travel 11 timezones east again, and i'm feeling afraid of going manic again.

Oh wow 11 time zones is wild I’m sorry that must be incredibly stressful. Praying 🙏 for you so you have the most peaceful calm joyful experience ever ❤

Lizzie! Thank you for sharing this. I have a lot of shame and embarrassment surrounding stuff I’ve done while manic… If this is something you’ve dealt with, can you please talk about it in a video? I have so much shame in my bipolar. I’ve hurt so many people in manic episodes and also some stuff I’ve said and done is just straight up cringe.

She did a video like that not long ago when she talked about some of her most wild manic moments including revenge on an ex breaking in an abandoned asylum and more.
Don’t feel embarrassed please don’t ❤. When you’re manic your brain is changed your brain chemistry is severely altered. It’s a lot like being intoxicated except being manic is totally involuntary. It’s a horrible mental illness that can destroy your life and make it difficult or impossible to make rational choices. I pray for you that you’re able to feel better in the future and not have to endure that kind of horrible situation anymore. I believe in you to have a fulfilling beautiful life where you will impact many lives and make the world a better place ❤😊. Your life is not over you are not worthless you are important and special and have a tremendous future I know it ❤😊

Great advice, except Seroquel as a sleeping pill may not be for everyone (for some people certain anti-psychotics can increase rather than decrease psychotic symptoms).

Are you still taking medication for your disorder? I’ve been thinking about stopping them but im scared. 😩

Don't stop! Bipolar cannot be cured. You may go through periods of time not being in a depression or manic episode, but even then it's important to stay medicated because the meds prevent severe episodes from happening.
Both manic episodes and depression episodes cause permanent brain damage, it is NOT worth the risk. Your brain is SO beautiful and valuable and you deserve to live with the best you there can be 💕
