My SAT is in 2 weeks and this has honestly helped a lot, im really good at the math portion but the Reading section was what was killing me. Can’t thank you enough 💛
I struggle with that too, but I think it helps to almost read the passages out loud (like, use the same cadence you would if you were reading it to someone else, but try to do it in your head or whisper REALLY quietly so you don't annoy people). Also, reading harder content outside of the SAT can help with your reading comprehension so you're able to stay focused while reading at a slightly quicker pace. If that doesn't work, you can try jotting down little notes (a word or two) after each paragraph to keep yourself engaged, but that might take too long. Hope this helps!

Gonna rest now to take the test 7-8 hours later. Hopefully I will do well, won't commit careless mistakes, and can score 1500+. I believe my hard work can be paid off (finger-crossed). Btw, tks for your tips, it really helps me a lot. Update: Just finished the test. Reading is average, not hard but not easy, the first half of Writing Section is pretty simple but the remaining half is lowkey difficult, the Math section is tricky and has a lot of trap questions and geometry. In general, I expect a bit lenient curve for this test.
Honestly, I am a sixth grade student, but my mom still wants me to prepare early for the SAT. At first I felt that it's impossible to have a high score (like you, of course), but after watching your video, I feel more confident. Thank you so much for this masterpiece!

Thank you for making this video for anyone out there who hasn't taken their test yet and needs help. You are honestly an angel for this thank you
I want to clarify something important: everyone has their own way of doing things. Watching videos on SAT tips and tricks doesn't help you sometimes. Most tips and tricks videos tell you their way of studying and doing the questions. They could be like "passage first, then questions" or "look at the questions first, then read the passage" and "the answer is obviously D for this question, look at the passage it mentions it" and think that they helped you. You might feel more confident after watching one of these videos, but in truth these videos do not help you at all if you just started studying for the SAT. The people making these tips and tricks videos already have a advanced mindset by learning from their own experience. For example, as I mentioned earlier, one of the people in the tips and tricks could be like "the answer is obviously D for this question, look at the passage it mentions it" which would seem really easy, but in truth, it's not easy at all. If you had just started studying for the SAT you wouldn't be able to identify and analyze the passage like the person in this video, which is a huge problem: the questions that you think are extremely hard are just basic questions to the "tips and tricks" people and they will think that you already know how to analyze so they will give you some tips like "look at the passage the author says blah blah blah and it is related to the answer choice D so the answer is D for this question" which would make the beginners think they understand but actually makes no sense for them. If you still don't understand what i'm saying, here is how a tips and tricks person would react to a question: Question: The author mentions "sharpener shavings" (line 10) in order to portray a mood of A: unrestrained joy B: sentimental reminiscence C: bitter disappointment D: cautious optimism Tips and tricks person: C because you can obviously make a inference in what mood the author is trying to portray Average beginner studying for the SAT: ohhhh i get it now (but actually it doesnt help him/her at all
Interesting! I'm taking the PSAT tomorrow. My score on the SAT is currently 1510, and I'm really hoping to pull it up to perfect in 2 weeks, so this was really helpful.
I think major thing that will help in passing the exam is to be calm and don't be afraid of the texts and questions. But for some reason i am still nervous. Even if it is just a practice test. My average score rn is 37/52 questions.... I mean i am 15😂
Thats not too bad. I’m your age, i got a 43/52 on my first khan academy reading practice. Just make sure to actually read the passages. The sat will trip you up on minute details.
ngl it'd sound generalized considering 70-80% (i think) of these comments are appreciating you. but you deserve every bit of that. people's heartstrings are strumming at an all-time high, after seeing this video lmao. but, good luck with your college, and thanks for sharing this again!!
First things first....your 1600 series is so well put together! Thank you! Secondly, approximately how much time did you have left on the reading section (on practice tests and when you got a 1600)? I'm always rushing to finish on time for the reading section.
Thank you so much! I didn't have much time at all left, it always took me maybe 8-10 minutes per passage (depending on the difficulty). I would just use the little time I did have to go back and check the ones I really struggled with, but I feel you
I'm taking mine on march 13 too, I've been studying every day but I'm still so stressed, there's always one passage in the reading section that just kills me.
i wrote my sat today and failed the reading section because I wasted a lot of time doing ur strategy of circling the quotes before reading. thank you :)
f sorry bout that...before you adopt a strategy it might help to take some practice tests with it so you can get used to the pacing + see if it works for you first

Definitely helped with my reading section in the December 5 SAT that I took today :) I really appreciate your channel and all your tips! TYSM
When I
first did the Reading section I was only able to do like 30 questions, and right after I watched this I am now able to finish 41 + questions lots of thx.
Sorry, but I just gotta ask a question that I'm sure was on the mind of many people..... Why are you on the floor?
coming back a year later to thank u for the tips, helped me get 1570 :D
Congrats! That's amazing :D I'm so happy my tips could help!
The daily double question trick was so helpful 🙂↕️👍
This helped even though im from the UK we usually do English Lit and Language and i really needed this for english lit
day after tommorow's my SAT thanks Anna!
How many points did you get?
Gonna rest now to take the test 7-8 hours later. Hopefully I will do well, won't commit careless mistakes, and can score 1500+. I believe my hard work can be paid off (finger-crossed).
Btw, tks for your tips, it really helps me a lot.
Update: Just finished the test. Reading is average, not hard but not easy, the first half of Writing Section is pretty simple but the remaining half is lowkey difficult, the Math section is tricky and has a lot of trap questions and geometry. In general, I expect a bit lenient curve for this test.
Me too, I'm writing tomorrow, good luck comrade
@@kelsthevibe Good luck to you too. Do your best 👍
Gl guys
Im doing it too
Thank you Anna! This helped me a lot. My MAP score improved by a lot!
"I somehow scored full marks on the SAT"

Thank you for this video. I love you more than I love myself 😭💗
IM SO SAD THAT PSAT IS ONLINE THIS YEAR :(
I’m doing it on paper and you’re so lucky fr.
Thank you so much for doing this. I really appreciate the time you took to make this!
Really good video. I got some tips for me and now I understand that these tips will really help me. Thank you and good luck 👍
I absolutely must say, this advice is gold. Thank you!

me getting recommended this video after finishing the SATs a day ago: 🗿
same🗿
Honestly, I am a sixth grade student, but my mom still wants me to prepare early for the SAT. At first I felt that it's impossible to have a high score (like you, of course), but after watching your video, I feel more confident. Thank you so much for this masterpiece!
this is probably THE most helpful SAT video i’ve watched
I already took my SAT two times and I am applying for college and I WISHHHH I had found this video before my exams. This video really did make it seem like such an easy test and I kind of feel dumb now looking back at how I took the test hahaha. Thank you for making this video for anyone out there who hasn't taken their test yet and needs help. You are honestly an angel for this thank you
I feel u r like me ...I used to think ...I'm doing smthng wrong. ..but now I am confident on my way
I want to clarify something important: everyone has their own way of doing things.
If you still don't understand what i'm saying, here is how a tips and tricks person would react to a question:
Question: The author mentions "sharpener shavings" (line 10) in order to portray a mood of
A: unrestrained joy
B: sentimental reminiscence
C: bitter disappointment
D: cautious optimism
Tips and tricks person: C because you can obviously make a inference in what mood the author is trying to portray
Average beginner studying for the SAT: ohhhh i get it now (but actually it doesnt help him/her at all
I have the PSAT tomorrow, and this just saved my life
7:15 OMG I STG I ALWAYS CONFUSE THEM TOO AHAHSH
RIGHT?!!? aaah glad I'm not alone
Ur insane!
absolutely destroyed one of the hardest standardized tests
not me thinking that the title was just clickbait and she got a perfect score which in my opinion is like 1500+ but damn go Anna! Lmao
bruh the two part question tip spared me from so much trouble
Interesting!
I'm taking the PSAT tomorrow. My score on the SAT is currently 1510, and I'm really hoping to pull it up to perfect in 2 weeks, so this was really helpful.
I think major thing that will help in passing the exam is to be calm and don't be afraid of the texts and questions. But for some reason i am still nervous. Even if it is just a practice test. My average score rn is 37/52 questions.... I mean i am 15😂
You got time! Keep pushing, you got this!
Thats not too bad. I’m your age, i got a 43/52 on my first khan academy reading practice. Just make sure to actually read the passages. The sat will trip you up on minute details.
I’m 15 aswell and I got a 25/52😢
It’s 11:00PM and I’m taking the SAT tomorrow (this is my level of organization), thanks for the tips
How did it go
ngl it'd sound generalized considering 70-80% (i think) of these comments are appreciating you. but you deserve every bit of that. people's heartstrings are strumming at an all-time high, after seeing this video lmao. but, good luck with your college, and thanks for sharing this again!!
I would just use the little time I did have to go back and check the ones I really struggled with, but I feel you
nice job on getting a perfect sat score anna!
thanks!
I'm doing the night before cram and this helped so much, thank you, you deserve a nobel prize
omg the evidence based question works every time!!!
i’m taking the one on march 13 and honestly i’m not ready i took a 530 on english on several practice tests and i’m horrible in math but oh well
I'm taking mine on march 13 too, I've been studying every day but I'm still so stressed, there's always one passage in the reading section that just kills me.
same
same legit in the same boat

samee i know im screwed
why was this just recommended to me? i’m literally a junior at vandy rn 😂
I’m a senior, my SAT is in less than 5 days and This was super helpful. God bless you I love you.😭💖💖
NOOOO, WHY WOULD RUclips RECOMMEND THIS TO ME NOW????? I LITERALLY JUST TOOK THE PSAT YESTERDAY!! WHY COULDN'T I HAVE GOTTEN THIS EARLIER 😭😭😭😭
My test is in two days and you’ve literally helped me so much with these tips and tricks, THANK YOU.
i wrote my sat today and failed the reading section because I wasted a lot of time doing ur strategy of circling the quotes before reading. thank you :)
f sorry bout that...before you adopt a strategy it might help to take some practice tests with it so you can get used to the pacing + see if it works for you first
You probably won’t see this but thank you so much😭😭 I’m practicing and I’ve been doing good than reading everything together and trying to figure it out later. Thank you and God bless you 💕
But what are tips you will recommend to save time and also help those who are slow in reading?
I came across your channel, and these videos are amazing! You structured everything so well. Good luck to everyone who's gonna take SAT! Also, idk why, but your voice sounds a little like Alexis Bledel's when she was young, so it felt like Rory Gilmore giving advice:)
You are an ANGEL. Thank you so much you’re amazing!
4:28 making a mark for myself to look back lol
I took my SATs like 5 years ago but here I am
