I always put some aluminum foil over the exhaust pipe so the oil from the oil filter does not get on the pipe. And I would have used a 3 inch extension on the socket when removing the drain plug so I would not come in contact with the hot exhaust pipe. Also would put a little film of oil on the O ring of the filter cap before replacing it. Better to be lubed, dry against dry more chance of wearing out the O ring sooner.

Great video love the details. One little trick I Learned was wrapping aluminum foil around the exhaust pipe so it doesn't get oily when draining.

On the 2019-21 models the oil spinner would get grime and metal shavings accumulated there on the first oil change. Would you need to clean the spinner on the 22+ models or is it not required at all?
