quick question when are these tournaments run and what coast east or west?

This one (Glue Cup) seems to be mostly EU players (?), but I don't think there is any actual rules limiting it to players from a specific region. There are also other beginner-oriented tournaments, check the official TFH Discord and you should be able to find them pretty easily.
