This is such a great composition and performance. I read the sheet music along with listening to Rubinstein. The music is deceptively simple sounding, but my fingers get knotted up at times!

The Capriccio sounds simple. With the right touch, loose wrist and upper body, fingers that feel like the keys are burning so the staccato stays constant, you will become comfortable performing this gem. Good luck - it's a lot of work!

one of the most inspired and miraculous short piano pieces ever composed. and Rubinstein’s performance is obviously phenomenal as well, though he’s maybe a little stiff here lol
