- Have you ever lost a corner of your property? Maybe you forgot the original size of your back? Well these folks sure did! As time passes sometimes things happen and you can't always get to everything. In this case, the blackberries slowly popped up and when nobody was looking they just went wild! Taking over several thousand square feet of the backyard and hiding some surprises it felt like a no win scenario.
We got the email and were able to come out and help these folks reclaim their backyard and release the stress that blackberries impose on their victims. Taking the Stihl FS-460 clearing saw we mulched these blackberries to pieces.

Good to see you again. A delightful clearing and resurrection of the backyard. You’re the best, Dave! Enjoy thanksgiving and the weekend. See you on the next!🙂👍🇺🇸
Thanks Martin! I hope you’re feeling well! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
So the neighbors were the source of the blackberries? How nice of them to share that nightmare plant.
It seems to be so, I guess they are just friendly neighbors😅
Great job, sweetheart ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you honey❤️❤️❤️❤️
At one point, I exclaimed, "Wait a minute! There was a wall there?" Then, I immediately corrected myself to say, "There was a POOL there!?!" I hope your customers appreciate the effort you put in for them. Happy Thanksgiving!
I was surprised as well! They sure do! Thank you, Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
Another job done well! Happy Thanksgiving David
Thanks Mark! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
Every time I visit someone's perfectly fine garden and see that they've planted blackberries I get a bit disappointed.
I’ve had people ask me why I cut them down since they produce berries, people have never experienced this level of blackberries and are sometimes speak a little too fast.
I don’t even know what I would say if I saw someone trying to tame them in a garden😅
Tak to by mně v životě nenapadlo, že tam bude schovaný bazén 😂😯. Ty jsi to jako vždy zvládnul perfektně a já doufám, že majitelé byli také spokojeni? 💯👍👍🌿
V ostružinách se vždy něco skrývá. A nikdy nemůžete vědět! Majitelům se výsledek líbil.😅
Do the brambles mulch as well wet as they do dry? Your videos are hypnotic. Great!
💚👍👍👍
😁👍
What, if anything, do you do after mulching? Take up remnants, run a lawnmower through, etc?
It all depends what they want. For this project we cleaned up the debris but usually we leave them on site. If the mulched vines are green and smaller they can be run over with a mower and it usually does a good job of breaking them down.
But grass usually grows and the cut debris gets lost in the grass and eventually will break down into compost.
Now they'll end up with zombies in the swimming pool. 😉🤣😂
Who knows, maybe they might enjoy the change😅
i cant see it well, but did u use the shredder knife , dave?
It’s a mulching blade, not exactly a shredder knife. The Stihl Shredder knife costs around $50 and the blades I use cost around $25. But I probably need to try the Stihl knife out and see if it works better.
@@golovinpropertyservices they are the same in concept dave.. i use both , same function.. marketing .
@@metalkarmak That makes sense. But one thing I like about the blades I use is that I can put the teeth back into place if they get bent. A few other brands I have used didn’t have the right metal and the blades ended up being a one time use.
You just love those obnoxious weeds and can't say no, carry on.
I sure do! It is absolutely satisfying!
