- Blackberries, to some people, are a lovely fruit. But to those of us living in the Pacific Northwest, we see past the little disguise into the reality of what they are. This homeowner had a dreadful patch of blackberries growing in the wooded area of her yard. She really wanted to go in and plant other vegetation and just see what her entire property looked like, but unfortunately, the blackberries were taking over.
Seeing several of our projects before and after photos she wanted us out as soon as possible to get rid of this mess. We got in there at the earliest convenience and made easy work of this mess with the Stihl FS-460 Brush cutter. We had freezing temperatures sitting around 14 degrees Fahrenheit rain, and even snow within the timespan of doing this job! Easy money!

Another fabulous reconstruction of a out of control situation. Watching all your videos enforces my observation. You’re the best, Dave. See you on the next! 😊
Thanks for your support Martin! 😁👍
A marvelous transformation. It looks like a national park after the mulching.
Thank you! Hopefully the neighbors don’t mix it up😅
Beautiful! I wouldn't believe it was the same site if I had not watched your hard work transform it.
Thank you, it was definitely a huge transformation.
Impressive video! It was like watching all of that brush melt into the earth.

Hello Great job, how many for this job? How many yards? Thks
Hi, it took a total of 11.5 hours and was about 14,000 sqft.
when you are commenting on the video, you should cut the audio off of the video you filmed. We cant hear you.
Thank you for the tip, but in this video there was no voice over commentary. It might have seemed like it, but I didn’t add any.

I've been watching your video's since last night, I have 6 acres near Olympia with a huge amount of blackberry bushes. I have a much less expensive forestry clearing saw, but I think I'm going to put an Oregon mulching blade on it and see how it does. Any tips to keep chunks out of my face?
I would recommend first and foremost a face shield, there are other debris that fling up and can hit you in the face pretty hard. Safety glasses are nice, but when you get hit in the lip or somewhere else it will hurt for a couple of days.
The best way to cut them is starting from the highest point, using an up and down motion once they are lower on the ground below your knees go side to side to cut the vines up into smaller pieces.
Depending on the growth you might have to go half throttle because it might be a little too much RPM’s to comfortably control it while it’s cutting. Cut the bottom areas and let the top fall over and cut that afterwards.
@@golovinpropertyservices Thanks for the advice! My blade just arrived so I will be tackling all those this week. I really enjoy your videos. For some reason, it's relaxing watching all that brush go away!
@@susitna110 thanks! I hope everything works out well for you!
What blade do you use ?
I would never say EASY MONEY you earn your living by your sweat.
