- Today we are attacking these Blackberry patches that were encroaching on this homeowners property. Originally her grandson began working on the project but it just got too hard on him with all of the thorns. She called us to come and take care of it and we were able to do everything she wanted exactly how she wanted. Now she can rest at ease and not have to worry about this mess anymore.

Great work as always! Your homeowner should put some containers of flowers on those tree stumps so that they look less stark, but, otherwise, the yard is beautiful now that you've worked your magic on it!
I think she wanted the stumps grinded up and filled in to continue the lawn, but that is a good idea you have!
Instead of battling weeds and blackberries all weekend and making almost no progress , I should have called a pro who has the right tools. Respect man : great work , love these videos
If you’re in the Seattle area send us a message!

Good afternoon everyone hope you are having a good day. Greetings from the USA
Thank you! Have a good day as well😁👍
All I can say is WOW! Your channel just came across my recommended video feed. I have lived in western Oregon for the past 40+ years which is loaded with wild blackberries. I have cleared many acres of blackberries on our property. I have never seen what a great job these mulching blades can do. I can't wait to try it on the property we are currently building our new home on.
Are you familiar with how incredibly effective spraying blackberries with Cimmaron is? It is used here in forestry management of blackberries. You need to use a surfactant like Induce in the spray mix. The key is to spray the blackberries between after September 1 up until the first hard frost (about mid to late October around here). That is the timing when the plant is pulling nutrients back into the root ball so it draws the Cimmaron into the root. For a few months after you spray, you will think nothing happened, but the following spring the plant is dead. The best way is to mulch the plant, then let it throw new fresh shoots, then spray the new chutes, then mulch the dead chutes the following spring. It seems like you could offer a service to knock down the plant, then come back with spray maintenance over one or two seasons until the berry patch is fully dead.
I am so glad to have found your channel.
Ahoj Davide máš můj obrovský obdiv!! Držím ti palce!! 👍👍🥇🏆👋🌿
Thank you Jana! 😁😁👍

I like this channel, no BS straight to work 👍🏻
That’s the only way to go! Thanks for watching.
This man is a hero!
We try to do what we can!
Great job!❤
Thank you Karen! 😁
I would enjoy a video of your maintenance process on your equipment. Does the mulching blade need sharpening? Do you do any additional maintenance beyond oil changes on your Stihl brush cutter?
Please share if you are ever on the Oregon coast. I’ve got the blackberry mess in need of eradication (how I found your videos). Keep up the great work!
I can probably release a video like that sometime in the future!
I’ll keep you in mind if I had down to Oregon 😁👍
New subscriber. Great job. Have to have pretty strong back to do your job. Impressive. 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💚💚
i have the husky version of that saw soooooo nice
It’s a great machine! These machines are quite rare in our area, not many people know they even exist.
The black berry exterminator 😂🎉 keep the good work brother. Should remove the stump as well!!$$$
Well done, and on a very wet day too. You always do great cleanup. Do you perchance remove stumps? Stay safe. 😊
I love this. I have 5 acres to maintain with 650 feet along a river. Would you recommend buying the FS561 or FS461 for someone using this tool for say 10 to 20 hours a year, or would a smaller trimmer be fine? A comparison video would be cool between the FS461 and FS561.
How do prevent them from coming back? Is it as simple as regular brush cutting and just never letting the blackberries get out of control again.
I've owned 186 acres with reforested Douglas Fir. After mulching the blackberries down in the winter and spring, let the berries throw new canes. The following fall, spray with Cimmaron (used by forestry for berry control) with a surfactant (we use Induce). In SW Oregon we spray between September 1 and when the plant goes dormant with a hard frost, about mid to late October. That is the timing when blackberries are going dormant and drawing the nutrients back into the root, so the Cimmaron will be pulled deep into the root. This is a VERY slow acting herbicide and won't look like it did anything, for even months, but it is EXTREMELY effective. Just stay on this maintenance cycle of mulching in the spring and spraying in the fall and you will continue to advance on killing off the berries. It may take two or three years (remember there are piles of seed in the soil) but it will work. One word of caution, Cimmaron will kill evergreen trees (firs, pines, etc.) so be very careful when you spray it.
Так хоть пни эти прикрывало.😄
Ну что будешь делать?)
What mulching blade do you use? Does it work on long grass?
Cheers
the sound reminds me of terraria :)
We have a regular weed eater we use for grass along the fence. What kind is the one you use? We have a ton of black berries we want gone
Great video man,What kind of weed wacker is that?
What’s mulching blade are you using? The 2T or 3T?
What’s the difference between the two aside from the extra tooth?
This is the 2 tooth blade. I have a 3 tooth but it is heavy and if you dent one of the blades it’s really hard to balance.
The 3 tooth works great when the bramble is lower then your hips, but anything higher and you can only use the 2 tooth. I prefer the 2 tooth as it’s much more versatile and lighter.
That stump might be rotted out.
It definitely is, it’s been there for decades!
So many blackberries videos
Too many😅
How many Brush cutters do you have and which models are they? 😮😅
