- In this tutorial I will walk you through the different ways to get to the trains to be able to drive or even play as a guard / conductor which is new to TSW5. The menus are somewhat rearranged from previous versions so lets take a look. I'll cover Quick Play, Free Roam both in the empty world and within the time table, time table services both as driver and guard / conductor and guided journeys and who can forget quick play?
so there is no carrier mode of sort???
@@santasgarage4394 I'm not sure what you mean by carrier mode? Do you mean riding as a passenger? You can do that spawn on foot near the time of a timetabled train then get on it as a passenger
hey, this is a good explanation!, i'd like to ask something tho, when i start my route, the train is arleady on, but i want to start cold e dark, how do i do that?
@@DarKVoid1_YT you have to shut it down first, not all trains support it, note that cold and dark is unusual for most trains these days
I downloaded TSW5 standard edition but I can’t find my routes and trains and I was downloading the TSW5 it gave me my previous TSW4 routes to download so I download it but I can find it in the game
People who got into the downloading very soon after release work. For some reason getting the TSW4 versions. Check your downloads now untick all the tsw4 versions. You should be able to tick all the tsw5 versions
@@trainsimulatordriver when I was downloading TSW5 it gave me a option to download it said download the trains and routes but it says for TSW3 and 4 not TSW5
And I downloaded it one day before like installed it on day before the realesed date it gave me the option to download it like TSW3 and TSW4
@@trainsimulatordriver so do you want me to untick the TSW3 and TSW4 trains addons I owned it in TSW4 then what next?
@@Games-r1v you should be able to tick all the TSW5 versions
I have the dlcs installed that comes with the Xbox gamepass tws 5 standart edition, but I can't see anything other than training center??
Check to make sure they're actually downloaded ruclips.net/video/Wfo_8AXyWnM/видео.htmlsi=PwcGImQqJXg7sTeF
I completed the tutorial but I could not find to the trains
@@Thatonerailfan1243 I'm guessing that you're running the free startup pack. The trains are only available in the training centre for you unless you buy some DLC which will give you a route to run on. Use the root menu to open up training Centre and you can walk around and find trains that you can drive in there.
@@trainsimulatordriverI also finished the tutorial, I can’t seem to find the trains, but I bought the San Bernardino- Los Angeles line. Also using the free startup pack but I bought the line on there.
@@trainandrobloxrailfanner8163 I replied on your other comment on the other video, the game will see the new DLC and offer it from the to the trains menu then you either choose route or train then timetable or scenario. If you're in console it's best to restart the console after it downloads the DLC.
I can't name the people in controller there's no spawn a keyboard to type :/
@@EddieGacuma really? That's a bummer, I'll report that. You can plug in a physical keyboard if you have one.
@@trainsimulatordriver Thank you for your help
@@antoineboomaars5225 you're welcome! Hopefully it was useful
can you tell me how i can get the afp or atb on the pc with the vectron in tsw 5? i have tried everything but i cant get it.
After you turn AFB on with ctrl-R, you can increase AFB using the F and decrease it with R. For those locos that need you to confirm AFB speed by clicking the top of the handle you use ctrl-F. Each loco turns it on/off differently - have a look at my loco specific tutorials if you want to use their switches or menus instead of the keyboard shortcuts. Note all the different flavour Vectrons are different in how they do it as per reality.
Graphics of stations look like very first GTA. Clunky controls suck. Can’t believe there’s no Japanese route or bullet train or mallard. Plus price for new routes are extortionate.
@@Manc-fh5we a Japanese route Tadami will be coming out this year with the KiHa 40, it's about the dead opposite of a bullet train. There are a few high speed routes in the game with a top speed of 260kmh which is approaching bullet train speeds.
