TSW5 Free Roam Sandbox vs Free Roam in Timetable Which is Better

- In Train Sim World we have a Free Roam feature which you can use in an empty sandbox where you place all the trains as your hearts desire but its kinda dead and takes a lot of effort to make it live. But wait, there's a better way you can Free Roam in among the normal Time Table so the world is alive already and you can still do just about whatever you want.
I got the Deluxe Version of TSW 5 on my PS4 and it's fully downloaded, installed and updated and I logged in using my TSW 4 account same email same password and etc and I don't see all my TSW 4 content or content !!! Please HELP!!! 😭😭😭... On the West Coast Mainline all I see is the Class 350 & the Class 390 where is the Class 710 ????😞😞😭😭...
Did I do something wrong or am I just stupid???
First the good news - your DLC will come over by themselves, some platforms today, others on 17th due to platform restrictions - they will all come over in time - in the mean time enjoy the new stuff :)
Now the bad news, you might have missed that PS4 (and Xbone) have reduced services so you get more than 5fps and reduced crashes. If you can afford it, its time to upgrade to that shiny PS5 you've been eyeing off.
The downside about in a timetable is you seem to have the lowest priority train
@@chandlerbstransport422 it might seem that way but that's because the other trains paths are already booked by the time you try and add one
@@trainsimulatordriver Yes, although it can be very fustrating. I once sat at Gatwick Airport for 40 minutes!
Hello! Is it possible to set a path in the timeblemode and serving various stops? ( usefull to load and unload passengers) I do not like the free roam mode as we are alone on tracks and there are no IA trains.
@@flox1514 yes you can add a path in timetable mode. You can only put in one stop at a time though. You can add one stop at the end and a go via for each station and you just know that you need to stop at those go via points if you want to. I'm about to make a video tutorial for doing just this in fact, so you'll see it shortly

This is neat combined with fast travel. You can fast travel to different sidings and place freight cars down, then go to where you want to start and spawn locomotives in then go pick them up.
Yeah indeed and with SB we finally have a route where there are lots of open manual points along the mainline so we can actually do it. Grand.
Sandbox would be ok but some of the trains fail to start after reloading a save to its useless

I literally had to delete, and Re-download TSW 5 and all my TSW 4 content all over again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sad to say that you missed the news. Gen8 has reduced services so that the game will actually work. Its a choice between that and you having 5fps and constant crashes. Its time to let the ancient platform go and upgrade if you can.
