Have no idea how I will feed my family next months, but don't you worry, Cross, it was worth it in the end 😂 Thank you so much, Cross, for helping me show these Well crutches how it's done! I am really happy people are enjoying the build ❤
@@Huligane Thank you! I do think that Briarbinds flew under many peoples' radars. It made me swap from Contraverse Hold which haven't used since. I really enjoy how much easier it is to maintain in all levels of content and how powerful the gameplay loop gets once you get the ball rolling even though Void Soul don't actually deal that much dmg, but what they do is they slow enemies down which is super useful. And since you can easily choose which targets to weaken, that means that weapons, grenades and even the super which base dmg could be better, get the 15% dmg buff. It's almost like having Void Surge all the time, especially if you keep getting orbs for weapon dmg buff (if you pay attention in the video, Cross never ran out of armor charge or ammo because orbs and ammo are everywhere and is safe to pick up with invis). Contraverse is strong, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't give you enough grenade energy from hitting one beefy target like it did pre Void 3.0 and you don't deal extra dmg with it either. And when you miss a grenade or just sit on cooldown in case didn't manage to kill many enemies with devour to maintain the loop, you have nothing to do apart from using your weapons because melee is incredibly weak and you probably don't use void souls because devour is more useful. I really don't like these one trick pony builds, I rather like when all my abilities synergise with one another. Even Sunbreacers and Osmiomancy are much easier to maintain in my eyes because melee can help you restart the loop easier.
I just witnessed a Sidearm be the centerpiece of an awesome build that carries through what can be considered the hardest GM in the game. These are exciting times. Now I actually feel motivated to run the dungeon more often.
I'm the one to submit the build. Love that people enjoy the build. Buried Bloodline actually became my favorite special exotic in the energy slot. I run it on Strand, Stasis and Void and its amazing. Running it on solar and arc is kinda pointless because Voltshot and Incandescent are way too goated to not use with the respective classes.
@@andreymavian3400 good shit, bro. You're creative as hell. I just realllllly hope Slowva Bomb gets a buff eventually, it's the only thing that I hate about running Voidlock.
@@patrickoakley7890 Many thanks! I'm really proud of the build as its my finest achievement and is fully made by me when the exotic dropped (I watched other videos to see what people would come up with for the exotic, but none recommended using echo of obscurity to safely get the void soul back) I completely agree on Nova buff. I really hope that when the time comes to rework the Ahamkara Skull, they won't mess it up and give it a dmg bump, or even to the Nova itself. That's another thing I love about this build because it kinda indirectly buffs the super since the target I send it to is most likely weakened for the 15% extra dmg.
The sidearm legit is going to be the centrepiece of a ton of builds. It can actually be viable to bring arc titan into a GM, because you can get devour with the sidearm, which refreshes, heals, and gives grenade energy every time you get a kill. Grenade energy is what arc titans want, because of the aspect buffing your arc grenades. Buried bloodline certainly allows for lots of crazy good builds.
@@andreymavian3400 don't know why you chose to use bloodline for a build that already gains devour and weaken with minimal effort, it's better suited on classes that lack survivability and debuff means already, stasis is a prime example

I finally got Buried Bloodline to drop for me last night. Time to get the Catalyst and have some fun. I watched this live and thought it was a great build and now I can make my own version of it.
I just gotta say, Cross and the team are the best destiny channel out here. They knew they would need content for this long ass drag till the final shape and came up with such a great concept for a show. I hope build battles can return after the content drought cause these are so good!
I feel like the stronghold build's problem is that it isn't a "slap on and it just works" kinda build. It has a skill floor and it plays differently than most other builds, and if you mess up too hard you're just dead. Like, it is a really good build, but if you aren't good with it, it won't click.
That would be so cool and would give it actual value as an exotic, because right now it's just the baseline to make swords viable in endgame. The current effect is nice and all, but it really is nothing more than a safety net so you don't get instakilled in a GM.
Briarbinds are the best exotic piece Warlocks got since Osmiomancy Gloves. Kinda funny how both are gauntlets that enhance an aspect of their related subclass, both revolving around spamming ice or void buddies all over the arena. Seriously, though, Briarbinds alone can compete against Contraverse Hold and Nezarec's Sin. Then, if you combine it with exotic weapons like Bruied Bloodline of Collective Obligation you're good to go with the best Void build. Even Word of Crota shines with this build.

I have been grinding eggplants to put out a similar buried bloodline 😂
Proud moment for a proud dad. Took it and RAN!!!
Hey Aztecross. Love these videos and this series but if nobody has mentioned it, the majority of the builds you have covered are actually created by a fellow RUclipsr named Plunderdabooty. You should shout him out as he makes great content and you are indirectly using a lot of his builds
its not too unique his builds, i have about 3 builds i made that a saw plunder upload a few months later, its very happen stance, but plunders vids should be shouted out anyways due too others just copying what he post.
Its not like he knows since chat are the ones submitting them
@@Subsistence69 well yeah… thats why Im commented lol
@@Subsistence69 to clarify Im not saying Cross is doing something wrong. Just trying to spread the word to him that these builds are mostly originating with a small content creator. A plunder and Cross collab would be awesome as Cross loves builds and Plunder makes great ones!
Buried Bloodline is criminally slept on. It’s so useful.
I think its more so just people not having it or the catty
Idk if i saw cross use lament heavy correctly once this video.
