Just picked up a used Leica Vario, just because it’s the ONLY Leica camera that sports a mini zoom lens...shooting for over with the standard usual type brick cameras, Nikons all the way, always with mini-zoom lens...current gear is a Nikon D750 w Nikkor 18-300 and D850 with the Tamron 24-70mm, ideal kits for event and traveling; hate carrying prime lenses because I don’t need them and can’t afford them because I don’t get a tax write off buying gear to support my photography...sooo, after shooting with the Leica M6 a zillion years ago, I decided to pick-up an affordable Leica and picked up the Leica Vario and Leica Q.....both amazing cameras because they are Leica quality made and speaks for themselves. The Leica Vario, though, everyone complains about the slow f/lens..is an amazing lens, the images are truly Leica, sharpness and colors, amazing. During Covid-19, I was able to,walk around desolate time square and Coney Island and could not believe the quality of the images from used Leica cameras... what a bargain I received on each camera and even more amazed on the Leica look quality images...but, one has to remember, Leica means slow shooting, so expect trying to catch any kind of action images, I’ll leave that up to my Nikon system, old reliable. But for traveling photography, the Leica will be my go to travel camera..light and non-intrusive....the Vario zoom lens is great...

Been using more than 15 sets since young
Now 68 just sold my Canon 5dm2 amd nikon d700 as pass to my son's...don't want and they buy fuji and sony
So I bought this leica x vario ....almost new as the person sold seldom used
I try and take along...so fantastic as not expected
