- In this video, we're taking a look at the Leica Digilux 1, a camera that's been around for over TWO DECADES and still remains one of my favorite CCD sensor cameras.
The Leica Digilux 1 is a camera that was designed with image quality and versatility in mind. With its Four Megapixel CCD sensor and Panasonic alliance, the Digilux 1 is able to capture stunning images and videos with excellent image quality. We'll take a look at some of the features of the Digilux 1 and discuss its image quality in detail. So whether you're looking for a high-quality camera for photography or video recording, the Leica Digilux 1 is a great option! the blues are simply unmatched on my digilux 1. It's my favorite digicam
Photos are dang sharp for a 4 mp.. it's crazy how much difference a good lens makes. Great video 🎉
I came here out of curiosity due to the fact there are a couple of them for sale at CEX in the UK for just £60 each. Which is pretty darn low for any useful camera... even one from 22 years ago.
Stumbled across the Digilux 1 earlier this year and was quite tempted to buy it but ultimately passed (it was the equivalent of 200 USD). Nice to see it in action, the blues and reds pop indeed! Its design is a bit of digicam heaven if you ask me, haha. But the Digilux 2 looks even better (need to find that one...cheap of course 😆).

Which watch are you wearing if I may ask? I have the Panasonic lc5 more or less the same camera I guess , I like it a lot
I have the LC5 also! been trying to look for a battery for it because the one I have is kaput. I assume a digilux 1 battery would fit? It’s almost impossible to find, was thinking the L1 battery might?

Were ya able to find a battery? The Digilux 1 and lc5 "should" use that same battery, I believe it's the DMW-BL14.
If you're not opposed to 3rd party options, they have aftermarket ones on Amazon and Ebay at a pretty affordable rate!
