Thanks for your help explaining Riverside. FYI. Your de-breath or de-noise software is doing more harm than good to your audio. Best to leave the breaths in.
Really nice hardware and software working hand in hand. But I would love to see it the other way around. Have the possibility to import (all) external guest from Riverside into a video capture device like the Atem mini. Now it is only possible to download the mp4 files and edit multicam in post or add capture full screens in OBS. For fullscreen capturing from OBS I tried a workaround by using different useraccount in Chrome and open the riverside studio and then capture a full screen external guest.
Your guests should be able to use the built-in Riverside screen share tool as well, then you get that as a separate recording in your dashboard. Is that what you're looking for?
I love your video quality 🎥📽️ Would you share your set up with us ? You have great light, framing, depth of field and video quality. How do you do what you do? Any chance of a sneak peek behind the curtain?
With the Mini Pro ISO, how can you record the individual inputs to an SSD while also connected to your computer/Riverside? Don't they require use of the same USB-C port? Is it possible to connect the Mini Pro ISO to Riverside via ethernet so that the USB-C port can be used for isolated recording?
Unfortunately the ethernet port is only used to communicate with ATEM software control and/or internet access for live streaming. You may need to look at the ISO Extreme with two USB-C ports that will allow for recording locally, and connecting as a webcam to Riverside.
Hi, I have come across an issue while using ATEM Mini Pro that has not been an issue with Elgato 4K capture usb stick. The latency is unbelievable, close to 2 seconds. Im aware that there are latency issues with the ATEM and that the delay can be adjusted through the ATEM app. But in this case, the direct connection via usb to the computer the signal is not going through the ATEM control app. How can I resolve this issue?
I'm doing that in Final Cut for this video, but if you use our Screen Share feature (even sharing a tab of your bowser or images in Preview / Keynote), our AI layout will make the media large and everyone's video in a small Picture in Picture window in the Riverside editor!
Will a ATEM switcher work with connecting IPhones to riverside? In other words how would one use multiple iPhones as webcams in riverside with ability to switch between phones? I hope my question is clear 😂.
It is! But the ATEM switcher doesn't work with iPhone or mobile devices being used in Riverside as a secondary angle. Best option there might be to have your mobile devices join the studio as a guest rather than secondary camera, mute the device, and then our AI layouts in the Riverside editor will automatically switch to whoever is speaking. You can learn more about that kind of setup here: ruclips.net/video/1hRbYg_iXnk/видео.html
I have two cameras for a live recording and a zoom h5 and two elgato capture cards. Is there a way around not having a switcher for a two camera in person interview?
Thank you! Shot with a Sony A7IV and Sigma 24-70mm 2.8. And you'd want the Elgato 4K capture device for that: www.elgato.com/en/game-capture-4k60-s-plus
@@Riversidefm Really appreciate the quick reply! 🙏 Been having a heck of time figuring out best 4K output for streaming and video podcasts (purchased the bmpcc 6k pro, which unfortunately only outputs HDMI at 1080).
Does Riverside also support a standard Blackmagic Mini Recorder input as thats the only way we can output the program from our blackmagic studio 4k or will we have to go via OBS virtual webcam?
Go HDMI out of your mirrorless camera, into the capture card, and select the card as your video input in Riverside. You may also need to download the utility software for the card to your computer.
I do a pre recorded video podcast. I have a Sony zv e10 that I use a micro hdmi to hdmi connection for riverside. I purchased the atem mini pro and I just could not get any camera signal to come through. I'm not trying to do a live stream I just want to be able to switch to different cameras while I record? Any guidance will be appreciated 🙏
Make sure the video switcher setting for resolution and frame rate matches the camera HDMI output. If you're filming in 4K 30 FPS on the ZV-E10, make sure the ATEM Mini Pro is set at 1080p 30FPS

Thanks for the tip! Will experiment with that.
Very nice one thanks
appreciate it!
Helpful videos! Can you show how it all hooks up? All the cords and monitors?
We can! I walk through the desk setup here: ruclips.net/video/NxPdxCLZ9Xg/видео.html

Appreciate the video, well put it in nicely done but are there any affordable switchers compatible with Riverside?
The ATEM mini for $265 is your best option and will work with Riverside! amzn.to/3WmV7kI
Thanks. What about a switcher built in to Riverside for switching between myself and a remote guest?
Right now you can't switch live during recording, but our AI layout feature in the editor will focus on the active speaker automatically!

Absolutely! Here's the BTS 😉 ruclips.net/video/Wgeg_TnndnY/видео.htmlfeature=shared

Is the audio ahead of the video? And what interface / audio source are you using?
How do you do the split screen with the media on one side? Is that done in post? Can it be done on the paltform?

@@Riversidefm thank you I will check this video out right now!

Are you looking to go between both cameras during a live stream or are you just recording the video from each to edit together in post-production?
Will the iso record all cameras at once to riverside, so you can edit post?
They record all camera feeds to a USB drive, not Riverside. But then you can import those and edit however you'd like
What are the 4K capture cards Riverside would recommend?
Also, what camera and lens were you using to shoot this? Looks amazing!

We'll be testing that capture device in the next couple weeks and will follow up!

What cameras are you using?
Sony A7IV as my a roll, Sony a6400 for top-down!
Will the final recording export in 4K?
You can export in 4K yes, but if you only recorded in 1080p it will be upscaled.
Great video!
Thank you
Is the Elgato Stream Deck compatible with Riverside?
Elgato can't control anything just yet, but stay tuned...

How I make my phone camera work ?
We have some info on that here! ruclips.net/video/FeUKIejoy60/видео.html
At what frame rate does Riverside record the videos from the switcher?
Riverside records at 24 fps but enterprise plans give you the option to choose other frame rates.
