Not meat riding here, this is genuine, your video from the still shots to the lighting really made me see how this watch the quartz especially really looks like without looking at it in real life. A lot of other videos it’s looks conflicting from one to another cause of the lighting but yours is excellent. Maybe I will get the power mastic 80 in black but the blue quartz is just fantastic with that sunburst dial. So thanks showing the watch clearly and in good lighting at the same time.

Thanks for the video. I’m looking for a classic sports watch and despite the plastic parts comments out there the PRX looks like a great choice. I’m heading towards the quartz too, price and dial being the main reasons. I’ve watched quite a few of these comparison videos and yours stands out in a nice understated way!
Thanks alot mate. I really appreciate that. Yeah the PRX is a banger of a piece and the sunburst of the Quartz is just killer in my opinion. You can't go wrong.
Great review and great comparison! 👏🏼🔥 I’d have to go with the Powermatic, simply because of the waffle dial. I’m a sucker for a textured dial.
Yeah I must say I do like a textured dial I just hate that it's waffle dial because I can't unseen the AP Royal Oak in it you know.
I like both but I would love to try the smaller version. The integrated lugs made the 40mm version a touch to long lug to lug for my smaller wrist. Great video - keep them coming!!
Thanks brother. Yeah I guess it is a tad large. I think 38mm would be top notch.

If I have a larger collection: quartz.
Smaller collection: automatic.
It comes down to the Powermatic 80 for me. That's enough power reserve to allow me to wear other pieces in a smaller collection. I wouldn't have to wind it our use a winder. A quartz in a big collection is convenience personified.
Is there a no-date version? That would sublime.

Oooo I like this. Super practical choice. I guess for me I'm more of aesthetic fan and love the sunburst but I do love your take.
Great video again CJ. I've always liked the auto dial more, the waffle pattern looks trick... But after seeing them both up close I think you're right. The Quartz dial is much more appealing. (So is the price 😁) Again, nice edit and keep 'em coming mate 👍
Thanks alot man. My intention isn't to convince anything but I'm glad we got more people feeling the Quartz dial. Apart of me feels alot of people just justify the dial of the Powermatic because it's an auto and not the other way around you know what I mean.

Having not actually worn either I would have thought that the dial on the powermatic was the way to go… but love that you think the plainer dial of the quartz is more desirable. I’d go with the Quartz anyway simply because of $$$
Well dude the Powermatic isn't that expensive all things considered but I know what you mean.
I really like the slower pace of this video compared to most reviewers who talk at 200mph, which I just find overwhelming

Bought the 40mm green quartz yesterday , I prefer the sunburst dial , very retro looking and modern at the same time. Wish they make an automatic with sunburst dial .
O brother. I was so close to buying the green one as well from a friend just because of how great it looks. Also... I totally agree. If they did a 35mm sunburst auto. I'd be all over it.
Brother great comparison video 🔥 I have to agree with you. Even though I like textured dials, this one mutes the color more than I would like. So for me, its not worth the money. Quartz all day
There's also that extra weight... I mean I like a bit of weight and I feel the Quartz model gives the right amount while the auto is a bit more heft.

Mate what a great question. Tough as well... I think ultimately it would be the PRX but honestly I really like the Gentlemen after seeing it in person. Incredible looking watch.
I'll go for the quartz simply because I don't wear my watch everyday but only on the weekend. So to adjust/winding my automatic watch every weekend is no fun for me.

i went for the quartz 40 mm blue. I got it for 300 euros in EU, the automatic would be 600 euros in the tiffany colour. It looks better but the priceincreasae is too high. I Would maximum pay 500 euros for the automatic. Also, there is too much plastic on the automatic inside the back, if you watch another video of the prx automatic and why you should get the quartz

waffle dial is less common and auto is always better than quartz imo.
Well said. I definitely prefer a mechanical movement over Quartz but I do love me some sunburst.
