I finally got one of these (same as the reviewed version) in the recent Black Friday sale at Joma. I paid $270, and having spent a couple days with the watch, I'm so impressed with it. It's just a nicer watch than it has any right to be at the price and it's so comfortable. With the provided half-links you _will_ get a nice fit! You'll be hard pressed to find a microbrand that can provide a bracelet of this quality.

You hit the jackpot with that aligned second hand! I’m holding off until they release a 37/38mm version - hopefully that’s in the works.

Not exactly the jackpot I was hoping to hit. 😆 Getting a quartz watch to hit the markers seems to be easier than hitting the lottery.

    Excellent review, as usual!
What a nice, elegant piece with nice details!
Tissots are really good quality watches for reasonable prices.
I have an old pr100 from the mid ‘90’s, and I love it!

Hi WUDN. Thanks for watching. Some of those older models are stunning. Enjoy. 👍

it has a nice design and somewhat affordable for a swiss watch brand but what turns me off about this watch is the F06.115 movement which is not serviceable but replaceable, the movement itself cost roughly about $150. while the automatic version it has some "plastic" parts in it.
idk is it still worth it though? i like the design but i want a watch that last a longtime

Great review, I've owned 3 PRXs now, 2 autos and a quartz, and I have to agree with most of your points. I think if you're just a casual watch buyer, or if you're into historicity, then the quartz is the way to go. But the autos just have a different presence on the wrist compared to the quartz, and the sweep of the seconds hand is just that much more satisfying than the ticking that doesn't hit half the marks. Plus it's hard to go past the tapisserie dial as well.
I think the clasp issue is over blown, I've had 3 in both 40mm and 35mm and have found perfectly acceptable fits with all of them on my 6-1/2" wrist, the two half links give plenty of options for sizing in my experience. Plus really, is there anything more 70s than wearing an oversize steel sports watch loose on the wrist? It's hardly the end of the world.
I've settled on the gold pvd 35mm automatic now, and I love it, it feels like so much more watch than $1335aud that I paid, it's exactly what I had been hoping Tissot would release.

Hello horizontalvertigo. Thanks for watching. Glad you’re enjoying your watches. 👍. I understand your point. The smooth sweeping hand of an auto is hard to deny. I have both Quartz and automatics in my personal collection. But I understand some people have a strong preference.

Good review of a great looking watch 👍. I do like the style, but the fit is such a gamble with that clasp. I also think a 38mm version would have been just right.

Definitely buy it someplace with a good return policy if you can’t try it on in store. The butterfly clasp is a gamble for sure.

If Tissot put the mechanical face on the quartz watch, I would have bought one months ago.

    35mm quartz white for me

Quartz is the way to go with the PRX given that the original was a quartz. To do the PRX name justice you need a period correct quartz.

Hi does the bracelet catch ur hairs on the wrist

Hello andrewbrown8431. I did not experience any hair pulling with the bracelet. My only criticism was the lack of micro adjustments, otherwise i thought it wore well.

I like them, but too popular ! Feels like following the crowd. That's not the watches fault though. I prefer the very similar Citizen NJ0150-81L but its onl5 5bar.

You could go the PVD gold one and be bold with your choice!
