Yup, mowing my lawn, golfing, suddenly standing three feet away when I get out of my truck.
We had one that basically lived in our yard for several years in Anchorage, raised several babies there, was almost like another dog, she would come over almost every night when I got home to say hi.
Our boys walked too school and "there was a Moose in the way" was actually a legitimate excuse for being late, especially Bulls, and especially during rut. The cows were pretty laid back and not much different than a domestic cow in temperament.
We've got a bull elk that thinks our neighborhood is his summer residence, a few years back he left his velvet in our apple tree.... he almost destroyed the tree too.
The moose said you spoiled his walk, lol…
