Hello Connor, I'm a resident of Myanmar, and I'd love to show you around when you visit our country next time! I'm a frequent viewer of your videos and have thoroughly enjoyed your Myanmar series. It was heartening to see you meet someone fluent in English because, unfortunately, not many people here speak the language fluently. It's quite saddening to see the problems you had to go through that weren't a thing before the military takeover. Myanmar used to be on par with popular tourist destinations like Phuket, Bangkok, and the Philippines. We even had better tourist infrastructure compared to some other ASEAN nations. If you ever decide to return to Myanmar, I can help ensure that everything goes smoothly and show you the real hidden gems of our country!

I've visited Myanmar in October 2019 (Mandalay, Bagan and Yangoon). Never before have I felt so welcomed by the local people. As you said, they are sweet and super friendly. It brings me to tears how the people of Myanmar are struggling now. This country has so much potential to attract more tourists. But we know about the current situation. Hopefully it will change soon. Keep up the good work. Really love your down-to-earth videos.

I went there to Pagan in 1995. We arrived by steamer on the banks of the Irrawaddy. The country only just opened it's doors to foreign independant travellers. I was so rare in their eyes, they were touching my skin. I was a single white female, 30 years old. For a week I hired a pushbike and toured the temples in the blazing sun. No one was there. Good to see there's still no one around.
