Before the pandemic, I went on a 3-weeks motorbike route from Saigon to Hanoi with my girlfriend, detoured over to Danang for a bit. We never got lucky enough to randomly crash a wedding, but I met some of the most welcoming and friendly people on this route. We had some random person paid for our lunch without us knowing when he left. We were so confused when we tried to pay and the owner wouldn't accept the money. Neither us nor the owner speak each other's language, but Google Translate came to the rescue. Incredibly kind people, and the scenery was beautiful.
So sorry that you ended your trip in Vietnam with such bad luck but having watched many of your videos, you have had so much good luck that it was bound to even out a bit. Thanks for sharing your trip!
I love the sounds of you giggling and laughing to yourself trying to drive on the terrible roads at the beginning - That whole thing made my heart smile 😊😅
My friend! I have come across your journey only in the past month and have been captivated. As someone who is a bit older and has often had deep regret about not having chosen a different direction in life when younger which might have taken me on this kind of path of adventure through our crazy and beautiful world, I thank you for the gift of being able to be able to experience it through your eyes, heart, and laughter. I have also shared your channel with some friends who feel similarly and they too have come to love it. At some point I recall a woman very assuredly saying that you are blessed. I wholeheartedly believe that she was and is very much correct. You unquestionably have a gift. Recognize it, don't let it go to your head, and you'll be good. Numbers will continue to go up, no doubt about it. It may be the end of this particular journey, but it could be just the beginning of so much more if you wish it to be. Straight up, all you gotta do is keep doin' it. Sending some love up to the sky for your Nan. PEACE and THANK YOU!

"I need a hotel room, for sleeping. Like this..but with no one in it" I'm dying 😂
Unbelievable, keepin it real bro! Loving your channel, I'm living the same life, great stuff to see.
Keep it up, and safe travels!

I have been fortunate to be able to travel to Vietnam twice and I have had a wonderful experience travelling and filming. Recently came across your channel and I am an instant fan of your videos. Binging! brb
thanks for being here my brother
I felt happy, shocked and sad watching this video. It was sad to see how things turned sour for you at the airport just when you were looking forward to leaving Vietnam. Love your content Connor!!!!
My wife speaks Vietnamese and she said the guys in the hotel thought u were gay and he was definitely trying to get u into a threesome
Your feelings are right he was even trying to pay you at the end omg!!
That’s crazy because I lived in Vietnam for seven years and I’ve never come acros or heard of something like this before uhave the best luck or maybe you’re just too handsome 😂 Keep up the vids bro luv ya.
That’s hilarious, well that’s one way to find his trip to Japan 😂
What was the ladies saying when he walked into the place to eat?
That's crazy.. old dude was hella ready 😂😂😂
That makes more sense now. Thank you.
Unfortunately human trafficking happens in plain sight in all corners of the globe. I’ve seen it myself in rural America. It’s so scary when you see it out in the open like that for the first time. To feel so objectified and disgusted with humanity. I’m sorry that there are so many creeps out there.
Not so fun fact is that a majority of victims aren't snatched off the street but are rather sold by people close to them, often parents or direct friends of the family. Taken isn't based on a true story, but that's the romantic version used for propaganda like Sound of Freedom
What exactly did you see in plain sight?
yea, it does, and it's fucking horrible. that wasn't what was going on here, though--man was offering for the two of them to suck his dick for cash

Nah dude don’t end everything here. Shows us your trip through Japan. Hell go on further and show us your adventures even in the states. I just found your page a few days ago, and I am hooked.

honestly i find it beautiful when him and that guy were bonding over the word “ok”, it shows no matter how different we are we can always be kind.

thats exactly what happened, same thing if you accidently park in the lot lizard spot at a truck stop or enter the glory hole stall by "accident" like i have. or like how when i go to gay bars for some reason all these dudes hit on me?

40 minute video, yet entertaining all the way through. The crazy and disturbing moments were so real and raw, but it was brilliant to see the real world through your videos. Keep making them, man, you are definintely breaking through with this channel!
Traveling is a bitch sometimes. Sorry for your airport problems, I hope this helps out a little bit. Much love and laughs from the Netherlands 😂❤
Thanks so much!!
Your interpretations are hilarious. I'd have to say this documentation of your experience is very different from others (in a good way) - not editing anything out by glamorizing your experience but showing us viewers the reality of your travel, your experience with the countries, its people, and its culture. It's raw and it's real. What an amazing adventure and journey. I applaud you for handling and managing everything so well, especially in stressful situations. Im glad to have clicked on this video. Will have to watch and follow everything from the beginning now. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
A few tidbits -

39:42 Wow. He's absolutely right. 💯
This channel will blow up if you do future travel adventures. You have all the ingredients needed for success. The only thing you need for millions of subs is if you keep going.

I love how you can get along with all cultures by the way you talk with them, join in, and still keep a composure of being relaxed. Your Awesome!!
I just discovered your channel and this is the most hilarious video. I love your brutal honesty, its so funny and also so refreshing compared to most other travel RUclipsrs. The ending just reminded me so much of Michael Palin's around the world in 80 days. He arrives back in London to his final stop and he's not allowed inside and its a huge anti-climax and he wants to shout and tell everyone he's just travelled across the world but nobody cares and life goes on. Dude my favorite part is you just walked in to a wedding party but you are kinda late. Seriously, thank you for making me smile watching your videos. Be safe always.

I've lived in Vietnam for five years and I love the people here. So friendly and fun. Sometimes you run into slightly shady situations but nothing too crazy. Hope you enjoyed your time.
Interesting that you needed a visa just to transit through Korea. Unless you had a self transfer that should not be needed. Ive had several layovers there and never needed a visa.
What did the guy at 16:10 say?
@@bluntly8760 sorry my Vietnamese is not good enough to understand.
What I like about this channel is your personality. You give us your honest opinion regardless if it’s not polite. You keep it real and that’s good. I’m glad I found this channel.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I started this video but it was beautiful man. You went through some rough patches but it seemed like quite a conclusion to a fulfilling trip and I'm honestly amazed at how you pulled it off. I'm subscribing and I hope you have even more adventures ahead bro. Great job 👏
At this point I am awaiting for the next episode like it's a Netflix show! Amazing job as always buddy!
Kind words
Thank you so much 🙏🙏this means a lot
Just found the channel like a couple days ago and I subscribed today. He’s so down to earth, blunt, and really involves himself in the culture and isn’t afraid to go through sketchy but fun experiences. He reminds me of myself😂
I almost cried seeing the look of defeat on Connor's face when he got to the airport. Sorry all that happened at once.
Im vietnamese, and I confirm a lot from these videos is a lie. Like the random fake subtitle during the first part of the video when he visit rural area like: kill white men or democracy stuff, all fake subtitle. 2nd: the hotel experience, the man doesnt have any bad intention, it's a bit confusing for westerners but in vietnam many hotel like this where strangers live i one room, i think it's the owner fault for bad explaining. And for the airport, not enough context but if it's our fault, im really sorry for his bad experience
