Beautiful performance of a beautiful piece, especially considering you're recovering from an injury! Sounds like you have a real connection with this piece and I'd love to hear your take on it :)
His Polonaise Fantasies as in Charles Rosen’s point is basically Chopin’s 6th Ballade, with the Barcarolle as the 5th, and for me it’s an introverted version of his 4 ballades. Henry
I really enjoyed how you make the melody sing, and the right amount of rubato ^^
Thanks! I personally think my rubato was clumsy in some 16th notes fragments. But I will improve as I go back to playing my piano more often.

For sure, to me it is like accepting life as it is, a true journey of the soul.

I agree, this piece has the spirit of his ballades.
Allegro de concert the nice A major parts are good as well
Another of the great less known gems.
Yes
In Beethoven's day, sustain pedals weren't even standard, so you are fine.
Beautiful, but I couldn't find the op. 61 in B Maj ? I would like to see more analysis. Thanks.
The piece is in Ab major, his polonaise-fantasie.
