I know a few Russian colleagues that have taught me some words, always get the compliments about my good pronunciation, must be my Spanish. I saw in some of these words similar pronunciations to the same equivalent in Spanish. I do plan on diving into really learning Russian, it has been a goal I’ve put off for too long.

I'm Greek and a polyglot. I speak fluently 4 languages and have also been learning Russian for a year and a half. It is probably the most difficult one, but I love it and see it as a challenge to achieve fluency. I also love to write it - it's similar to Greek, but also so different. A really cool language and is spoken/understood in so many Eastern countries.

I’m so impressed with Fedor’s obvious commitment to his learners. He’s just a natural teacher! I started learning when lockdown first happened - wasn’t too sure at first but Fedor’s enthusiasm helped to keep me going. We’ve just started a U3A (University of the 3rd Age) group in Plymouth (UK), but we’ll only meet fortnightly, so these videos will be the mainstay of any progress I make towards being able to communicate in Russian. It would be nice to have contact with Russian speakers, but this is pretty impossible at the moment! Keep up the good work, Fedor, and thanks for the inspiration!

Удачи, мужик! Я не из России, но научился свободно по русски и ты сможешь. Вот правда я из Украины, в моем городе все по русски говрят, с детства меня учили русскому, а не украинскому, поэтому я скорее учил украинский язык в школе, а русский и так знал, но мне приятно видеть как иностранцы изучают язык на котором я говорю всю жизнь. I want to share with you the method by which I mastered three languages well at the same time (you can also learn 1 language). I composed and wrote down 50 sentences and dictated them. (I posted all my materials on RUclips for free use). The essence is very simple: in each lesson I add no more than 5 new words, and practice them to perfection in different versions. Iatk, first you listen from your native language to the language that is most familiar or easiest to you. Then you listen from this language to your native one, then you listen from this language to the next one, then again switch places and so on. There are 12 videos of 1 lesson posted on the channel. After watching all 12 videos of 1 lesson, you will be surprised by the progress. You can start the second lesson and so on. If you don't want to learn a language from the list, skip it. I would be very grateful if you appreciate my work.

They had a 9 year old daughter Annie who was totally bilingual. I could actually read a first grade book. Well all that faded through the years and all I remember was yes, no, thank you, and goodbye. For me being a little hearing impaired the endings of Russian words kinda to me run together unlike French or Spanish. But I'm going to save this and try to learn these words. It'll help me with listening and trying to get every sound. Susan was the one trying to teach me and she was very patient. Then they moved. On my father's side I'm part Russian amongst other things.

I speak 8 languages (5 Europeans and 3 Asians). Of course, I am learning Russian too.
But, in terms of grammar, Russian seems to be the most complicated & difficult.
