Seconded, the speed of speech is really helpful. I am also trying to learn Turkish and have found a couple of RUclips channels where the speakers repeat words and phrases several times. With Turkish the speed isn't a problem, but the language is quite 'alien' at first. All those suffixes... Russian and Romanian speakers on the other hand, they go so fast... Hi there! How's your Russian now? Can you speak in Russian? Would you like to have a chat? Let me know. I'm fluent in Russian and English as well. Talk later?
Perfect story telling on a true A1 level. This is a so great, and there is not much material on this very basic level out there. A lot of other videos that call themselves basic, really are not. It takes a lot of awareness by a native speaker to be able to reduce their own speech down to what an A1 student can and should know. This is excellently done here. And I just noticed that you provided a Russian transcript too, which is wonderful. This way, I can make sure to write down all the vocabulary words that are new for me, and practice the phrases, in which those words are used. Thank you very much for this great content.
Hi there! How's your Russian now? Can you speak in Russian? Would you like to have a chat? Let me know. I'm fluent in Russian and English as well. Talk later?
I've only been learning russian seriously for about 5 months but was able to understand 90% of story. It's funny to think back to Goldilocks ( Маша) and the three медведи and how I know less Russian than a 3 year old would! Thanks 👍😊
in your defence you've been learning for 5 months, whereas the 3 year old has been learning for... 3 years :D people often forget just how much free time children spend learning versus how much adults can afford to - unless you are a senile old man with a falling apart brain, age is not the deciding factor, it's simple time investment ^^ if you study for 15 mins you will never learn as well as someone who spends hours and hours
Children spend their whole time listening and observing and understand so much before they even start to speak. Listen listen and listen and for us adults, the short stories are excellent.
I have been learning russian for about 3 months now with duolingo but i started integrating your videos early because i think it is very important to hear a native speaker and also have context to the words. I saw a video yesterday on scientific aproach to language learning and they said it is very important to have a context. For example to see the pictures of a bear or the girl masha. Also you act out the story which makes me understand it without subtitles and without knowing all the words. Thank you alot for your work. I believe your videos are perfect for learning the russian language. Atm it must be hard times for all russian people. Lots of love for you from germany
