2024 LA Invitational Bike Ride - San Marino, Mt. Lowe Road to Inspiration Point (Single Scoop)

What's up Party People. That was the vibe of this fun for all, mass start, Pasadena Gravel Bike Ride. Put on by the super chill people at the Cubhouse Bike Shop in San Marino, CA this is the ride to do if you like chill vibes, climbing hills, and epic views. Participation was said to be around 300-400 people this year, across three different distances (Single, Double, and Triple Scoop). We did the Single Scoop: 27 miles, 4100' climbing (and a slice of pizza at the end).
Our out and back route for this ride is north on Marengo through Pasadena, up Chaney Trail Road to Mt. Lowe Road, finishing the climb at Inspiration Point (which is where we turned around and headed back to the bike shop).

- Giant Defy, Vittoria Terreno Dry 700x38, Shimano Sora 2x9 50/34 chainrings and 11-42 cassette
