    Great short video!. you can save a step on this workflow. When you start a sketch on a face in fusion 360 automatically projects the geometry from that face to the sketch so you do not need to use P for project in your video example, its already done.

      I know you can dimension off of the geometry from the sketch plane, but I don't think exporting a sketch to a DXF file will include it unless it's been projected.

      ​@@vsvenson I don t know if exporting a DXF through the file tab will work but right clicking on the sketch and "save as DXF" does work. By selecting a face to start a sketch on it does automatically project the geometry of the face to the new sketch, it just doesn't show in purple. try it, works on my system.

    Works with SLDW too I think!
