27:35 Most people can't even relate to the word "Democracy". Democracy is itself a western word. How many people in India are really democratic? Even Ambedkar said Indians are not democratic, even the Indian State is not really democratic right now. Should we remove the word "democracy" too? Even the concept of "nation state" emerged from the west. People in Tamil Nadu can't empathize much with a person in Nagaland. So what justifies the formation of Indian State?
The value of secularism, as defined by SC in various cases, has to be inculcated among people. Even in the west, Secularism was not present originally. The west was also deeply religious, to a fault.

Democracy is not as foreign as Secularism. In India we don't relate to term secularism. In our constitution it is written to follow Dharma So why dharma nirpeksha????. But under Indira gandhi during Emergency word Secularism was imposed without any discussion in parliament and even in preamble.

@@Koinaein place of talking about the relevance of including these principles we should focus on the utility of those principles..lets asume india is not s secular state then what will happen?....our religious interests will collide. there will be wars of ideologies...like

Constitution is a sacred document based on the wisdom of our father and several good principles adopted from wester countries constitution like equality from usa , goods things taken from Irish , uk , french , new Zealand , Russian constitution. Narrow mindness leads to hatred and conflicts.

secularism in islam as moududi said is ladiniyant and kuffr..first precondition of secularism is that one have to admit that there can be different ways to reach the ultimate reality ‘Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti...unfortunately abramic cults dont accept that...secularism in west had emerged as a consequence of bloody sectarian violence, concentration of power in the hand of the body of organised polity called state....no islamic country is secular ...because as per islamic law non muslim has only three options--either you convert to islam or pay jiziyah and accept the status of dhimmi or fight war ....india is secular not because it is written on a piece of paper...it is secular because we accept the existence of other paths.

I believe in Peace formation between communities from effective learning of and about their religions. Respect everyone and every religion, I know this might be difficult at current state. But I think good talks and understanding between people will make us closer.
Some main topics from every religious texts (people who live in India) should be involved in curriculum, as from Bhagavat Gita, Quran, Bible, Guru Granth and other Holy books to let people know their purpose of life according to their religion and to stop criticism based on half knowledge over others (Counting everyone). ❤️

and for that to happen you have to accept the right of existence of other faith.Unlike the dharmic tradition which emergedd in east believes in एकं सद् विप्रा बहुधा वदन्ति- .......... the missionary abrahamic religion beleives in all or nothing and doen't recognise the existence of other faiths

I am not secular but I am sanatani because my sanatan dharm makes me bharatiya or rashtriya premi, secularism is just a cancer for Indian society nothing else, there is no matter of win or lose the matter only is a sanatan rashtra or hindu rashtra which makes us human of Bharatiya

India should experience a situation like Srilanka. Then they'll shed away the obsession with religion. We as a society are continually apt at deriving our identity from our religion because we lack substance as individuals. India needs an alternative idea altogether. Individuality should be sold to everyone one with tolerance as a giveaway. Tolerance is something that is going to keep us bound as a society for religion is not something that could be encapsulated in a small frame and could be handed out to everyone. It is vast andthe majority of the parts are abstract. The people in power will sell the idea of their convenience. How do we control what is being taught? Who is going to regulate what's being taught?
