Found your channel today. I started my weight loss journey in May of 2015. So far I have lost 79 pounds. I want to lose another 14 pounds. My motivation was that I need a hip replacement and need to lower my BMI. I was doing fine until July. I love the summer and all that it entails. I told myself I would return to my meal plan after Labor Day. I have gained about 4 pounds since July. I need motivation to get back to my meal plan. I lost the weight by watching my calories. My Fitness Pal (the free version) has been extremely helpful to me. My goal is to lose 1-2 pounds per week. I am definitely going to try the lemon chicken recipe. This is the kick in the butt that I needed.
💯 with so much that you said. I am finally a final 😊 loser. I have gone well past my goal this time and don’t want to lose any more weight. Been here about 6 months or more now and I feel like I am on autopilot. I can’t believe it...I am 56 and have struggled since I was 14. This is the weirdest feeling for me. Loved your message. Your mantra really hit me hard for some reason. Probably because I've spent my whole life doing it again and again. I should probably do it right this time. I did attend my very first WW meeting this morning, though! I am very excited and feeling positive! Thank you for all of the very helpful advice. 🙂
Thanks for the tips on being motivated. I need that. Especially the talking to myself. I've neglected myself for too long! What I keep thinking about are these people that are extremely obese. The ones that weigh into the 1000 lbs. I don't see how they survive. I don't want to be one of them. But like you say if you don't stop doing all of these bad habits we might have ,we will continue to gain weight.
I have lost 50 pounds since April 2019 and I have long way to go. For the past couple of months I have stalled. I am on Slimming World but in September SW US shut down. I have been floundering and have to get my mind on what I have accomplished and I know the program by heart but I have missed the support from the online group. I found your channel and I love it! Ok, you are speaking directly to me! I too started in Jan ‘18, lost 50lb’s. By December of 18. & have done nothing this year. I was so proud of myself that I was keeping within 5 of the 50. But all of the sudden..... I’ve gained 10!!!!!!. This week is the first week I’ve felt like I’m back on track. Love all of your words! I just found you, & will go check out more of your videos! Was happy to find your channel, I to am in my 50s . I just finished my first 6weeks on WW. Lost 10lb first 4 weeks now been at a stand still last 2 weeks . Feeling a little discouraged, but I’m not giving up . Thanks for the great motivational videos!! 🙏🏼
Glad you aren't giving up! You will absolutely have times of no weight loss - it happens to most. It can be so discouraging, but it's so worth it to keep going. You may want to take measurements - sometimes you don't see the scale going down, but you do lose inches, which is just as exciting! Cheering for you Lyn!

I found your video so encouraging. I lost lbs last year and only went down one size. My wardrobe did not change and I got so discouraged that I gained it all back. I know I have to get started again but I was under the impression losing that much would make a big difference. I will take pictures this time and a walking video and hopefully that will help. Thank you Bobbie for valuable information. I came across your video looking for Help to get unstuck restart my weight loss journey. I have senior parents who don't have the best health and we've had some scares in the last couple of months, that was a chunk of my Why to how I got off track stress and anxiety flooded me I'm going to make a stronger effect (as I have made many efforts before) to fast and pray to make a fresh start. Definitely don't want to " start again" w losing all progress. Thanks again!
Bobbie, measure myself helped me to be motivated, I realize that I have more way to go. I ask help to God too, it is important to have that connection, I am doing online and it is the first time that I am loosing weight without a doctor or a counselor checking at me every week, at least; and I think I am doing pretty well and happy loosing weight eating what I want with boundaries, of course. I like your videos, inspirational and helpful.

Not to mention the fatigue, mood swings and cravings that seem to go with menopause. I'm also not very good about praying about my weight loss. I don't know why I hesitate, but after hearing you mention it, I'm going to make a conscious effort! Thanks again!
Tracking can absolutely get tedious, but I know I stay on track when I do!!! Keep praying - He is waiting to hear your every struggle and wouldn't it be so much easier to have the creator of the universe come alongside you for each of these struggles? I'll be praying for you as well Carla!

I have a wedding to go to in December and I'm determined to wear a particular dress that I've only worn once, 15 years ago, to my oldest daughter's wedding. I am GOING to wear this dress! (Not to mention all the health benefits, extended longevity and such!) Phillipans 4:13! 📖🙏👗 Thanks again! 😘

Just introduced a new food/ recipie (been stuck on my tried and true..but getting bored as u mentioned) oh! Didn't think of pinterest with food??!! Thanks for the tip! Was also so focused on getting to Onederland (16 lbs away)... that I did not realize that 50lb goal loss is 7.5 lbs away!! But taking it 1lb @ a time. Just realized that if I can lose 40 plus lbs... then 7.5 lbs is definately achievable!! (NEW Motivation!!🎉) It'll just take time 😊. NEVER going back! 💪💗
7.5 - Yeeeeesssss! That's your smaller goal - Onederland is your next! Be sure to set one after that - maybe the next size down in pants or shirt!!! Evenings can be hard - be sure to brush your teeth when you know you need to not eat anything else!!!! I'm amazed at how much this can help. Cheering for you Zoe!

But i fell off the wagon about 8months ago and want ti get back on track i gained about 7seven lbs.i want to try a new meeting to change it up..Do u go to meetings? I hear through some WW ambassadors the plan is changing in January. A new plan always gives me inspiration. I wasnt a big fan of Free style, i like all the 0 point foods but its calories in calories out ..well i went to wish you all the best on this journey! Glad i found your channel keep them coming 👏👏👏💯💯

Eat carnivore I'm 61 and I'm losing weight like I did as a teenager when I was starving myself and I'm now not starving because I eat plenty of meat and low-carb vegetables

10 lbs is still a big deal! Think about how big even 10 lbs seemed at first! 💕
pick up a ten pound bag of sugar or flour or two 5# bags! That’s what you’ve lost!
