Anya was in Across the Spider-Verse, but instead of looking like a young teen girl, she looked like Zarya with a Beatle Borg, Blue Spider armor, and was there for a fraction of a second.
To feed the RUclips algorithm: My two cents about the Spider Totem thing is that it still works fine if you conceptualize it in a kind of Steve Rogers/Hal Jordan kind of way: that totem spirits pick the right KIND of people to bear their destiny, not necessarily specific ones, and Peter was just "the right kind of guy to be a Spider-Man" in the area. Peter IS an everyman and underdog with just wits and determination, and that's what made him appealing to the Spider.
Arana was at her best when she was a casual spider with goggles and a grappling hook. When she put on the Spider-Woman costume she just became an also-ran.
Next to Mayday, Aña is Spider-Girl to me. And they both work as Spider-Girl for different reasons, and both compliment Spider-Man in different ways, Mayday obviously being the legacy of Spider-Man and Aña being more like the other side of a coin. She's a shining light in the crowd of Spider-People that we have and I think she deserves to have the spotlight way more than she does.
Finally someone talks about Anya, honestly she's one of my favorite Spider characters and I've adored her ever since reading her solo series back when i was a kid and found the first volume in my public library.
Thank you for a very informative video, giving me lots of detail on a character I knew nothing about. I have a love for spider characters since Spider-Verse, so I really want this one, which makes me appreciate your video even more
I love Araña, was the one thing I was excited about in that awful Madame Web movie and we all saw how that turned out.. Not to mention they didn't even give her the Araña suit, they picked her damn Spider Girl suit 😭😭
I'm reading Arana's mid 2000s run and, honestly, I think she works better as her own character separate from Spider-Man's world. I love her bio-armor and her yo-yo weapon, and her connection to the Spider Society.
Weirdly enough, this is one of the few characters who I've actually read the initial story for. I was a little confused by the Spider Totem stuff, but I remember liking Arana
Spider-girl and Young Allies were two of the books that got me into reading monthly issues in college. I completely forgot about both of them, but now I might have to pull them out!!
thanks for the video. I'm somehow completely by accident reading comics that feature her in 3 different points of time. I'm reading Brian Reed's Ms Marvel, Kelly Sue's Avengers Assemble, and Kelly Thompson's Black Widow.
I feel like if you want to be in the creator program, you should add some of your own gameplay to the end. Something that shows it would help your videos to own the actual cards.
Seeing your own stuff on the stand is nice and all but I can say my proudest moment was seeing my art on a Nando video.
That’s how you know you made it.

ruined.
badass.

Mattie also works like this, but Aña just more so to me.
I really liked this Spider-Girl run, bought all the issues... but I was apparently one of the only ones who did.
I also had that Young Allies.
Again... I may have been the only person.
I keep wondering if he knows or if anyone has told him. The base card artist for Marvel Snap is Ryan Kinnaird, not Kincaid.

Amazing video!
Keep them coming 🎉 your card sync section is a bonus
She’s so much more niche than I was expecting, I really think she should work like forge
Amazing as always.

Carapax? Carapace? Carapiss.

If am honest i like the nando cut more than nando v movies
It’s been months and I’m still baffled that Anya’s 90s/early 00s fit was an “I eat math for breakfast” crop top
I like "Spiderman is just some guy" speaks more to the everyman in the world
I know you didn't say "American Dragon: Jake Long" LMAO!
Based on the clips used, I would say her role in Madame Web is "the one with visible midriff"
Personally for me the real spidergirl is mayday Parker the daughter of Peter parker and Mary Jane not arana corzon but that’s just my opinion.
I rolled my eyes to no one at the annoyance of the spider totems. I hate it.
Wonder if there are any comics about The Rhino as a hero 3:57
hope you get added as a creator. great videos
Glad Marvel Snap dedicated a whole Season to the world famous movie Madame Web.
I am definitely going to play anya with spider woman
they were not cooking with this one
Some recent comics have given her doctor strange style mystic powers too
what are some recent comics?
I have a Lego Web Warriors set, it has Ben in it so that's odd lol, but yeeeey Ben Reilly letsgo

Lets gooo
I was wondering who the hell that was
Her inclusion in the Madame Web movie was minimal, I wonder if she’ll be in Captain Marvel 3…
probably not
Most likely never, since she's still a Spider-Man character, and owned by Sony.
Marvel canceled Captain Marvel 3, along with Eternals 2, and Ant-Man 4.
@@michelangelocarmona1705 they didn't confirm these were canceled those are just roomers
@@michelangelocarmona1705there's no confirmation or anything about this. Just wild speculation. Sure, some may not happen. But nothing is confirmed.
¿Dónde está la biblioteca?
Me llamo T-Bone
La Araña discoteca
her character has kinda faded into obscurity in recent years which is a shame
Post next week's on nebula, damn it
Ben Riley makes everything difficult. It'll be up soon.
Correction: Anya’s father is Puerto Rican, her mother is Mexican.
I love you Nando but please double check these things
What do you mean you weren't familiar with the word carapax?
