People say that but that's the thing, "doing it well" is the part that proves often to be more difficult than you imagine. From getting in all the effects, actors, story and everything else to all work convincingly to pull off certain plots effectively.
@@thecrispymasterI concur, crisis on infinite earths has been adapted 3 times and the only good one was an audio drama. Because it wasn’t hindered by visuals it had to focus on the writing and voice casting. As such it was able to not only properly adapt the story but even expand on it in reasonable ways.
The MCU grew to become pretty much its own thing and adapting storylines from classic comicbooks becomes more and more difficult because of that. I honestly think they will rather take inspiration from certain comicbooks than trying to directly adapt them.
And it shows. They have butchered plenty of those stories for the sake of their own take. The God Butcher, and Planet Hulk being the most infamous examples.
@@proto245 Thor-look at all of these Gods murdered. CinemaSins-yes Darwin got it from the blatant distressed call that was basically like the god butcher is killing so many gods he's called the god butcher because of all the god butchering can we mentioned he goes by the name the god Butcher. Th3Birdman-and we all know if this didn't happen, you'd be all like “he's called the God Butcher, but I don't see too many gods being butchered” stop planning about. You would sin it if it didn't happen. Korg-what is that? CinemaSins-and more importantly why didn't we get to see the amazing fight it must have taken for Discount Knox to take him. Th3Birdman- this film is adapting the Gorr storyline from the comics and in that storyline, we didn't see Falligar being killed either only the aftermath in that respect the film is extremely comic accurate down to the panel (Th3Birdman literally shows the panel from actual Thor vs Gorr comic book he has)
I do agree on the Secret Invasion one so bad. The Kree-Skrull War as a whole can be its own Saga, Imagine a Civil War caused by the Skrulls eventually leading to Secret Invasion then Avengers Disassembled then Creating the New Avengers (Dark Avengers) with Devil's Reign. Eventually the Real Avengers once again Assemble for this event ending up against the Kree. You could also have some World War Hulk and Kang the Conqueror storyline similar to that of Earth's Mightiest Hero.
I like it too. Thomas Jane was actually good, but I admit the movie was a little bit too soft for a Punisher story. There was a shortfilm a while after this movie called Dirty Laundry, again with Jane as the Punisher. That one had the tone the movie needed. You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/NAoBsIZ-M3A/видео.html&pp=ygUWcHVuaXNoZXIgZGlydHkgbGF1bmRyeQ%3D%3D But yeah, nevertheless it wasn't a bad movie for me. I also liked War Zone with Ray Stevenson. This one had some B-movie vibes, but was all fun. Heck, even the 80ies Punisher with Dolph Lundgren had it's cool moments, but yeah, this one could be considered as not too good, nowadays. ;)
How they will adapt sins past in the mcu 1. Show Mystero got away somehow in far from home 2. Plans revenge on spiderman 3. Shows peter ntr of mj 4. ??? 5. Profit?
I was thinking last night of how they could adapt a movie trilogy on The Maker. But it would honestly just be super depressing and boring up until Reed becomes The Maker, which that exposition would be an entire movie in itself. You could show scenes in the normal universe and in the ultimate universe just to keep it interesting, but I feel like that would be difficult to do. But the world needs to experience The Maker.
If they were gonna adapt Sins past without Gwen Stacy and Norman Osborn in the Tom Holland films, i presume it would have to be the Vulture doing the deed with MJ. There is no other love interest and enemy that would fit the bill in that continuity and the Vulture CERTAINLY wouldn't do it with his own daughter the one movie love interest Liz that went nowhere.
Watch Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes for a proper secret invasion adaptation. Miles Morales having Spider-Man be his Uncle Ben (the person he could’ve saved but didn’t), is way too good not to use in live action and I just don’t care for two Spider-men who have the same name in the same universe, it’s goofy.
I feel like when we get to Secret Wars for the mcu it will most likely be the 2015 since it deals with the multiverse but will have some elements of the original Secret Wars from 1984 like Spider-Man getting the symbiote for example
I agree with so many of these, but at the same time a lot of these stories require build up the MCU doesn't have But I disagree on the death of Spider-Man I don't think Miles works as a character working alongside Peter, a team up works maybe as a one time thing but Miles can't work if Peter alive, his entire motivation lies on the Death of Peter It's much more interesting for Miles to learn on his own especially after all the Tom Holland films had some sort of mentor or guiding hand
Why people want full adaptation, you guys dont want to read your comics anymore? Whats the point of buying comics if the stuff is already on screen with full motion and you dont have to turn pages, rip bye bye comic industry.
Saying Secret Wars should not be adapted is crazy. If we had all those characters from the start without the rights issues, I would have LOVED to get SW ‘84.
People want secret invasion for the shock factor of big heroes being aliens actually but then later start hating it since they'll now say it ruins and we were actually watching a fake all this time
I like earth mightest hero avengers cartoon of secret invasion than mcu tv seried, like they should hired cartoon writers that knows comics to write good script than modern writers
Secret Invasions and Secret Wars just do not work in a movie setting. I think a tv show (animated specifically) that runs long could eventually do it, but a movie series just can’t. And damn sure not live action
Well I think they can be adapted to look at secret invasion didn't avenger emh do a adaptation of it and people like it so I think these can work it just you need people who are willing to look at the material and say hay this was bad let rewrite this because if tfs and one piece live action have thought me years of hightsight goes a long way
I believe anything can be adapted so long as it’s done well and doesn’t get rid of the main point of the story

Petro and Wanda incest relationship from Ultimate marvel?

Yeah, I think all the "adaptations" and once in a while accurate costumes are just ways to keep the comic fans happy

Punisher 2004 slander in current year? Blasphemy
Sins Past didn’t happen. At least that’s what most writers agree on. And most fans.

It's funny that you still think they're adapting comics
Great video, that intro is just so fing loud scraed the shit out of me lmao
0:46 well to late for that one they already botched it secret invasion honestly should have been a whole phase

What about the worst comic books they should adapt?
Saying "Sins Past" isn't particularly good is like saying eating the KFC double down isn't a particularly healthy meal.
We’ll see if Sony is desperate enough to win back fans by adapting Ultimate Spider-Man and its Green Goblin to live action
People want secret invasion for the shock factor of big heroes being aliens actually but then later start hating it since they'll now say it ruins and we were actually watching a fake all this time
I could see em all as animated films tho
Secret Wars is getting adapted
Bold of you to assune the MCU would accurately adapt comics.
I like earth mightest hero avengers cartoon of secret invasion than mcu tv seried, like they should hired cartoon writers that knows comics to write good script than modern writers

I think it's too late for a Death of Spider-Man adaptation of any of the Live-Action Spideys

Secret wars should be based of the 1984 comic and not the 2015 Tom Hollands spiderman should get the black suit too
2:47 But Gwen Stacy doesn't exist in the MCU therefore the story wouldn't make sense otherwise!!! Along with a lot of other "issues"!!! 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞
