  • Titanium cookware is awesome if you're looking for lightweight and durable stuff. There are drawbacks though you need to consider.
Because these are lightweight and the metal is thin, it has poor heat retention and conduction so it's really easy to burn your food and cause the food to stick, so my recommendation is to think about using these tools for slightly less high temps and keeping things a little slower :-) If you do that, you'll get great service from them.
Here is my starting list for the beginner, your mileage may vary, pick what you like and what you need.

I just wish there's innovation like titanium pot but with steel laminated bottom for good heat distribution

I know exactly what you mean. A simple solution is to get a heat distributore like this: www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B000HM9ZSY/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_3?smid=ANEGB3WVEVKZB&psc=1 or something like it. Both are lightweight and should give you a better result...

This is helpful thank you, do you know what size pot would be best for cooking for 2 people? Or do you think cooking in 2 smaller pots will be better to double up as bowls to eat out of?

Tough question. It’s really up to you and the style of meal you’re making. If your going to go a pot then most of them are rated in litres or volume so I’d start there.

I use a small Uberlen pot for oatmeal. Mac & Cheese, pasta and soups. Keep the heat low and stir a lot.
My next size up is a Stanley Even heat

I have a question. Why do people buy titanium plates or bowls instead of eating out of the cooking vessel. Is there a special use case the I'm missing?

i guess it comes down to personal preference really. I've always liked plating food up, even hiking food, so for me, i like to have plates, but each to their own. I know a lot of people who just eat out of the container... do what makes you happy man, plate, no plate, it's still food :-)

I dont like titainihm cookawre generally. Tend to use mild steal or aluminiumn, even cast iron.. all dependant on what i am doing.
Its light but expensive and is the cost justified mostly not. Weight aaving is not so great really.
