Oh good god not this film series
Damnit.
oh, here we go
Eric: They are going to drift in space.
Fast and Furious writers: WRITE THAT DOWN, WRITE THAT DOWN
I remember around time of 4-5 they said "Nah its to early for now 4Head"
Fast & Furious 14: Space Drift
@@Qalibrated Fast and Furious 9 already had two dudes in a car in space with a rocket engine strapped to their vehicle ramming into a satellite and destroying it to save the world.
@@Qalibrated I wish I was joking.
FFXVIFF... aka "Fast & Furious XVI: The Final Fantasy"...
"I DON'T FIND THIS SEXY, I'M TOO OLD!" I feel ya, Eric.
When eric said if it was easier to rap in spanish, that wasn't spanish it was an italian rap song; i was so surprised how the hell did i not remember that at all
yeah, either way. rapping in spanish is harder lol
Giselle
“That’s a razor”
“That’s Gillete”
I’m dying lol 😂
I have to admit that I've never seen the whole setup directed by Vin Diesel, I've never even heard about it.
Bro same 😂 I have the Blu-ray collection of the series and this wasn’t on it
Me either.
I've watched all the movies except 9 and yet I feel like I'm watching something new 😅😅😅
I swear I was watching and I’m like this looks so low budget what the hell is this😭
I love vin diesel but my god that was not great
Funny fact : christopher Nolan actually said in a interview Tokyo Drift was his favorite fast and furious movie
From here on out, this series just gets WILD
Yea it does but if you don’t take them seriously you will enjoy them
How did you write this 3 weeks ago
@@jeisonr2506 early access
Well 5 isn't that wild compared to 6, 7, 8 and 9.
@@GrandmaNUT yea but the point is I’m just hoping they don’t take it too seriously. The best ways to enjoy the movies are just to turn off your brain and watch
Can't wait for you all to enjoy Fast Five. The best of the series IMHO.
100% agree
The script is definitely the best. So tight.
@@thedefinitionisthis Same, I only have Furious 7 as my top favorite. I loved the racing and I love how they continue to have at least one race each new installment, but the further I watch these movies and love them…the further I really didn’t care.
I can’t wait for Fast Five definitely in my top 2 of the series.
Fast five was an absolute blast. Enjoyed the hell out of that experience.
Fast Five was the last good one in the whole series, after that all downhill
@@tarunmishra2 agreed. I still love the later movies, but for different reasons.
Same. I love all of em but 5, 6 and 7 are my personal favs.
Five was the peak of the series. It’s where the descent from car/race movies and the evolution into high-scale, mission impossible style action movies meet at a good equilibrium.
This is how the story of family begins
And it develops to something unimaginable (cars avengers)
Fun Fact: This was Gal Gadot first movie in her entire life.
Fun Opinion: She really needs to be a Bond girl
The way she looks in this movie is unbelievable
@@FirstLast-yh7gj in today’s movies She needs to be a Bond
Aaron said that
@@VsMemeNurdik Female bond played by Gal Gadot? I’m in.
... And Gal Gadot was finally introduced to the world. The next movie Fast Five is still my favourite of the Fast & Furious franchise.
I was looking for this comment. FAST5 is deff my favorite too :)
"Anyway, did you get what they were talking about?"
Of course he did, Aaron. This ain't the Normies.
Eric: "I think life is preferable to death." Aaron: "I don't know."
All the goths: "Aaron gets us."
"This is too unrealistic, too unrealistic".
Oh man... Little does he know...
Nothing is too unrealistic for family.
This was the movie that brought me back on board with the Fast and Furious franchise. Director Justin Lin was exactly the shot in the arm this franchise needed.
He directed the previous one as well, so the franchise already had that shot before this one.
Funny that Rodriguez almost left the franchise because they wanted Letty to cheat on Dom with Brian. But then you get her constantly catching Dom with other girls.
Yeah, What a prick
Yeah, but the girls weren't family
Han did mention in Tokyo Drift that he was from the states. He tells Sean that Japan was his "Mexico".
That would explain why he seems to sympathize with Neela's "gaijin" status... and his hovering association with D.K.
They know he has money and he's cool with spending it.
"Do not go through Mexican tunnels!" Words of wisdom from Eric.
"If you stand for nothing, what will you drift for?" Hahaha
This is the where it's weird, because it's not too ridiculous, but it's starting to steer away from racing. I like it a lot, but Fast Five is where it's officially figured out what this franchise is supposed to be (and it's my personal favorite, with Furious 7 being my second)
Same, 5 is the one that brought me back in. I'd basically seen the previous movies and missed 4, wasn't looking for it or paying attention to the series and suddenly caught 5 while it was playing at a friend's house. Soon as I saw the Rock and Vin going at it I was hella intrigued again lol
To me, 4 and 5 were where the balance was PERFECT, the action was pretty unrealistic but it wasn't so ridiculous that it pulled me out of the story and drama
Basically in this they wanted to be ridiculous but thought it was too silly in the next movies they just fully embrace it
The opening of 7 sets the anime tone so hard that it's great.
Fast and Furious was never about racing. They literally hijack trucks in the middle of the desert and get into beef with gangs. Racing was always just a side thing. It’s kinda the audience’s fault for going in thinking they’ll get only racing.
When dom caught that engine block with one hand i knew he was a demi god
Hemi god
Just came back from the Dominican and it’s a tragically beautiful place. So much poverty but so much untouched beautiful land. I don’t think I’ll go back though. As a woman there, I didn’t feel safe on some of the excursions I took. Not even on the resort at some points :( if you do go there, tip the staff well. Those people desperately need the money and work extremely hard for it ❤️
I felt the same in Jamaica. Inside the resort its beautiful, nice and amazing. Leave those walls and its so poor and sad. Troops with machine guns. At night ppl on the beach trying to sell you drugs or trading for food. The resort knows about it because they tell you watch going on the beach at night. Everyone was super nice and happy though.
@@JordanJMyers yeah it’s really tragic honestly. The people there are so desperate for money to support their families that they resort to harassing people on the beach. It was the same way for us. It sucks because you go to these places to see the beach but it’s much more relaxing to be in the pool on the resort than to go out on the beach and be panhandled when you’re trying to sleep on a beach chair.
@@JasmineBoothe1 Very true. Also the amount of money the resort's make they should help the communities and stuff. I mean all the wasted food could be given to people instead of just throwing it out.
@@JordanJMyers this was my biggest issue. The buffets were amazing and I was stuffing myself yet when we went off the resort you could tell these people would have appreciated free food. Lots of underfed people walking around. And don’t get me started on the underfed horses and cows :(
@@JasmineBoothe1 Yeah i don't wanna know about the animals. That stuff kills me just as much. Like those animal commercials come on i gotta turn the channel. So sad.
This movie is the reason it became a franchise. They just got carried away by making the main team into Avengers.
49:43 - 50:00 I can't believe I'm hearing the Back to the Future theme 🤣🤣🤣
To bring back the cast of the first film for the 4th was a major shock to the system.
'New model, Original parts', the tagline alone was too good.
This was the grittiest of the series.
Serious drama, good action and great driving.
The 'Los Bandoleros' short film by Diesel was good for expanding the story.
When it comes down to it, the bond of Dom, Letty, Brian & Mia was the core of the Fast saga at this point in time.
I honestly believe it's the second best movie in the franchise after the 5th one. It has a straight-forward well executed plot. The toned down cinematography is a nice break from the vibrant visuals of 2 and 3, and is not seen again after 6. The acting is among the best in the series and never feels overdone or underdone.
Not to mention, it basically has the best race in the franchise.
Exactly
I really enjoyed and felt a connection with 4th and 5th part of franchise
Brian vs Dom in this movie was absolutely awesome and I used to recreate it with Hotwheels lol. It’s my third in my top three favorite F&F movies
Eric: "Who killed Letty?!"
Ummm, I believe Michelle Rodriguez's legal issues, but I could have the timing wrong. 😂
I’m not sure but apparently the directors wanted letti to cheat on dom with Brian and she wouldn’t do it
Eric just referenced Jujutsu Kaisen while watching a Fast and Furious movie. I did not know I needed that
49:44 The Back to the Future theme you added had me in stitches!
Eric's joke at 31:49 made me genuinely light up with joy and find a spark of happiness (:
They didn't notice Mother's Milk initially at the race
I remember when this movie was announced and it was crazy that they were finally getting everyone back together. 2 fast 2 furious was basically a Brian solo movie and Tokyo Drift doesn’t have any of the originals minus Doms cameo at the end. After Tokyo drift, the franchise seemed kind of dead at the time. Then they announced all the originals returning and that was really exciting to hear
This is where they figured out that Fast and Furious movies needed the core squad
Yes! I was so extremely exciting. I think it's commendable that they were able to restate this franchise. I thought it was really over.
49:43 That Back to the Future music insert threw me off, but I love it
I love Tokyo drift more than most of the main movies am really glad you guys agree i don't feel crazy anymore
Totally feel you. My friends think I’m nuts & always give me shit. Vindication!!!!!
The slo mo shot of them in the kitchen is actually really cool imo with the context of Leo’s passion for cooking haha (if I’m not mistaken)
Dude, I was so confused when this video started, I checked the tittle, scrolled thought the preview and finally went down to to the comments to find out what the pre movie stuff was. And I loved it. It's pretty great. One more flavor of Fast & Furious to appreciate. I dig it all man. The 90s cheese, the 2000's edge, and even the recent ones, though I haven't seen Hobbs and Shawn yet.
Glad you are continuing this series, as long as you accept these for what they are, and don't look for too much out of them, you'll enjoy them a lot.
I love how you guys are reacting to a huge volley of different kinds of content unlike most reaction channels that took a hard turn into strictly watching anime. Great work!
@3:28
The Greatest Joke Ever Told, sober.
🤣😂
P.S.
I'm glad you guys took the time to watch the little Fast and Furious pre-movies. Many of the next Fast and Furious movies, reference a few of these scenes.
Can't wait for Fast Five! It's the best one in this franchise!
Really hope you guys will react to the rest of this series. So much fun to watch these F&F react videos.
You are up for the second best movie of the saga (after the first), Fast Five is awesome. I can't wait!
Also the Back To The Future edit was fantastic hahaha
Tokyo Drift is placed between the 6th and the 7th part of the franchise.
Okay now I’m hyped for the next reactions, the next one is my favourite of the series. Now we are getting into the crazy era of Fast an Furious
Watching you all react fast movies, made my day waaayyyy better!
Every time Eric chuckles, I gain an extra year of life.
IVE BEEN WAITING. IVE NEVER CLICKED A VIDEO SO FAST IN MY LIFE THANK YOU
I was in Dominican for 5 weeks this spring and it really is like this. The forests are literally palm trees and unfortunately the people are very poor. There’s lots of slums there 😔. Also their Spanish is almost a completely different dialect. I live in Spain and had a hard time communicating with my Spanish 😅.
I'm Dominican and yeah Spain has a completely different dialect than we do 😅
Fast Five is my favorite of the Fast franchise, I cannot wait to see your reactions.
I was so confused at first, cause I know I've seen this movie and I was lost for quite a while when it started. I kept thinking, "Wait, is there really one of these I didn't watch? And it has the same name as one that I *definitely* did?" 😂
35:55 That's actually Italian rap. The song it's called street code, created by EnMiCasa, an italian rap group, and B-Real, the frontman of Cypress Hill
The little movie short that comes before this one and the other short are some my favorite parts of the Fast Franchise
With each film, the family force grows stronger
Rumour has it F11 will be about the greatest racers the galaxy has to offer.
Leo and Santos are singers and there names are Don Omar and Tego Calderon and the sing the song at the end of Tokyo drift and most of the lirycs on this scenes
Beast boy out here looking like David spade
"I don't find this sexy! Im to old!" 😂😂 I just died a little
One of the most underrated Movies of the franchise.
It was nice seeing Mother’s Milk in this too lmao
34:00 “ his eyes are so blue “ 😂😂😂
I liked this one. gritty and simple. this was the pivot point between the first 3, and the 5th onwards. this was the soft transition into the new style they were going to for the future.
The thing about critiquing the CGI stuff is that you have to remember these movies are getting old now and back then it looked a lot better than it does now. It's like when you watch Jurassic Park. It looks so bad now but when it came out it was ground breaking.
at 35:52 they are actually rapping in italian that's why it sounds a little different than spanish , pretty similar languages tho
we are becoming part of the FAMILY with this movies
Fast five is my favorite and where it should’ve ended! Can’t wait for that reaction!
Nice reaction guys! Im looking forward the next reaction FAST 5 my personal favorite of the series!
I saw in the more recent ff reaction y’all were sitting together FINALLY
U callin Dom Batman Now... just wait..
nd That Engine Catch 🤣🤣 This was the turning point
I’m not a huge fan of this one but I do like that we finally see Dom and Brian together again.
That Friendship becomes the heart of the series imo (until Paul Walker’s death that is).
Fun fact: the driver that Brian “replaces” is played by Greg Cipes who is a big voice actor..he voices Beast Boy in Teen Titans.
That said Beast Boy
@@BillyTheKidLawrence i feel it moreso becomes about the family as a whole but fair enough..i can see what you mean.
I havent seen F9 yet.
@@taimurmuggo1634 fast 9 will make you like the franchise again
@@CJ-nu7dp okay, don't make me started about how much i hate F9
Hurry up and do the others please guys. This was brilliant
This is arguably the funniest movie review i've seen 😂😂😂
Then you haven't seen actual comedies.
I agree with Rick that Vin Diesel does not do emotions well and that's a big mistake they make with the movies trying to make him the emotional center lol
As an Dominican, I'am soo surprise with his scene🥰😍. My country has some good things too!!
If you get a chance watch "Better Luck Tomorrow" is one of the first movies directed by Justin Lin and while technically it has nothing to do with Fast & Furious, Han is one of the characters and Justin Lin retroactively decided that it counts as his origin story. While the themes and plot are completely separated from the Fast & Furious franchise, it's a great indie movie on his own so I very much recommend it. :)
@@BillyTheKidLawrence you're right, I misused the word retroactive (English is not my first language). I meant what you wrote. :)
I ❤️ you guys. Never thought I'd say this.
Eric’s angry crush toward Gal is great lol
I was wondering what all those scenes were at the start! Lol I didn’t know there was a prelude to this movie like the one to 2F2F.
Just a thing: that engine chain thing could have been done by anyone cause it works based on pulleys, it is meant to allow a single person to move something really heavy up and down with little effort.
This is one of the better ones, they started going crazy after this one
In my opinio this was the last F&F movie where the writers/creators actually asked themself "Is this at least at some level realistic?" But after this movie they just sad "F*** it! Lets just do the most bonkes sh** we can come up with!" And I applaude them for it!
The "song" in prologue is the same playing at Dom's cameo in Tokyo drift
Eric says he needs this franchise to ramp up for him to get invested…
Just wait until Fast & Furious 5 🤩👏👏 there’s some crazy stuff at the end, which is one of my favorite things in the entire franchise!! 😁
Finally I've been waiting for this
Last time I clicked this fast, it was for your Cobra Kai s1e1 reaction!
My reaction to this movie was "Was that actually a good movie, or are my standards just that low after three total crap movies?" I thought the exact same thing about Wonder Woman.
Can't wait for you guys to get to fast 5!
As someone who has seen Fast Five and up, I feel like I'm getting just enough of the movies I haven't seen and still get the feel that I've seen the entire movie. I don't really take these movies super seriously. Just a fun movie series to watch.
Just noticed that rap in the beginning is the same rap at the end of Tokyo Drift when Diesel shows up.
It's even cooler when you know that Rico y Tego, the two latino guys, are Don Omar and Tego Calderón. They are the singers of that song, "Los bandoleros"
"Did he drive to Asia from here?"
Me: that's a complicated question, very complicated
I can't believe Rick just mentioned 50 cents Blood on Sand!!!!! I can believe it😂😂😂
I think this one is really underrated cause its low on most people lists and lowest on rotten tomatoes
Well I mean, that could also be just because it's the worst movie...
@@niallmcnulty4108 Why?
