Looking up the specs again it looks like this would work using a USB cable the same as in the video. I have the same problem. Tested on tablets (Lenovo and Samsung) that have USB-C and Android 12 and 13 and it won't work. On my phone with micro-USB and Android 8 it works flawless. So it might be an Android-thing, or newer devices are shit and manufacturers think nobody needs this or else they buy Apple devices ... i absolutly woun't buy an Apple device :S

    Hi. Wanted to know if I hook my piano keyboard up the way you showed, using headphones and also adding a beat from keyboard as I play, will that free app you showed to use also pick up the beat as well. Going crazy trying to figure out how I can play through my phone live as well. Help 😩

    • @Tunelighting

      Hi Daisy, do you mean hooking up a regular keyboard or a MIDI keyboard to your phone?

    • @SouthPaw____
      @SouthPaw____ 3 года назад

      @@Tunelighting ahh! I just saw you reply now. I have a Yamaha portable keyboard. I can only play it with headphones not to disturb the neighbors. I have the USB cord along with the wire that goes into my phone as you showed... Being that my headphones will be plugged in as I'm playing, will the sound still go through to my phone. I feel stupid asking this question but idk. 🆘

      I just downloaded perfect piano plugged everything , downloaded perfect piano app, but its not picking up when I play it's only allowing me to tap on my phone to play the piano on the app itself? Noooo!! Why!!!😩

      @@SouthPaw____ hmm very weird. What is the make of phone and keyboard? On some phone when you plug the USB in you have to select what you want the device to do (i.e transfer files or charge) and you need to select MIDI.
