It's a good thing that commenter had that information for you, otherwise this video would probably be missing an interesting piece of a puzzle. Like jumping (or parkouring?) into the dark and falling into the abyss because platforms did not generate. An open-ended story is one thing, but it's surely more satisfying than one that is just left unfinished or abandoned.
Actually had I not received that comment the video would most likely lean more towards the hopeful message of while the game is long dead, the fanbase is still here actively keeping it's legacy alive with it's gameplay videos, mods and even fan comics. It's so sad Nekki abandoned Vector 2, it's one of my favorite games on mobile and I come back to it everytime I'm bored. I love so much the roguelike elements of the game, the upgrades, the mechanics, every run feels different. You get punished for being bad and you learn for the mistakes, trying a different build the next time. You get farther you progress in the story and it feels rewarding. Even as if right now with the story unfinished is a very good endless runner. If you get the premium version, upgrade kits have a chance to spawn on floors which makes the game still playable. I really really wish Nekki would come back to it in the future, such wasted potential. I hate so much the vector remaster words can't describe it. I have so many issues with their new games, reasons I stopped playing shadow fight 3 after years of grinding that shit daily. Nekki please I beg you as a long time fan of your games, I grew up with shadow fight 2 and vector and it ended at shadow fight arena and vector remaster. Give us an ending to vector 2. Give it another chance. And by another chance i don't mean flood the game with ads and microtransactions. Vector remaster is normal game (if you love play mobile games without internet) high replayability (characters) bonuses that make sense if you can't reach 3 stars,interesting hard mode,ivents,daily levels(old levels from first part) btw remaster better than original if you buy premium

It's so nice to hear when a person really understands the game and its creators. When I was a kid (I'm from Russia), everyone used VK (not anymore) and there were all these Shadow fight 1 games, there was also a Vector game that you could play. Most likely, Nikki will now just suck money out of old games, they don't have the same popularity as before and even the "reworked" Vector 2024 is just a donation dump. And many won't even see the continuation of Vector, it's a pity, but the game's history was quite interesting.

Dude. I love you. Now that it's been mentioned, I think I fell through the floor once, too. It wasn't anywhere near floor 61, but I still remember it happening at one point. So it's probably just a bug that has a small chance of happening, and as you play over time, you will eventually run into it. Anyways, do you think you'll ever make a BA video? You seem to reference it a lot with Schale logos and music and your channel header. But maybe it'd be too much of a culture shock for many regular viewers of the channel

Interestingly in the original vector 1 game there were leftover files and assets for "lab", there were obstacles, traps, and rooms (level data) for the lab which would most likely further support that the developers just made vector 2 a sequel instead of the lab being a new location.
I think the reason for that was because the lab was originally planned to be Stage 4. In Vector 1 they had to add new mechanics and gimmicks to increase the difficulty for each stage, Stage 2 had less platforms, and Stage 3 had moving platforms and the ability to stop and turn around during certain parts. So for Stage 4 The Lab it would introduce traps. And this part is a guess, but I assume that they briefly stopped working on it when Shadow Fight 2 became super popular and when they went back to it they decided to reuse the leftover lab level into a small spin off since the idea of an endless lab with changing traps seems like a good idea, and their real money maker was Shadow Fight, but then as I said in the video due to the fall of social media gaming they decided to rebrand it as a sequel so they could hope to profit off of the Vector name.

@@Nekkodude You could make some good content on all of these to be honest. Head Soccer btw is still SORT of up, but when you try to boot the game, it just doesn't work. Many games copying it style did came out tho, and the creators of Head Soccer made a game similar but about Boxing/Fighting, and its honestly a pretty amazing game, no pay to win, genuinely challenging, has fun gamemodes - its actually super underrated.
I also like to add Jetpack Joyride, Infinity Blade, Earn To Die, Angry Birds. The 2 games that i want to replay again are the Infinity Blade and Angry Birds Epic. I miss those games

Exactly since I saw someone mention that the Mother Factory is basically where all the Vector clones are being made, so it's possible there'd be more than one rouge Vector hiding out in there somewhere, plus we never get to see what's outside the facility, it's been 10 years since the first game so there had to be a lot of changes.
I somehow have this story item called “Decontaminating Agent” and I have no idea how I even acquired it in the first place, it has the description “Used to rectificate DNA” or put simply, to correct DNA faults. No idea how I have it.
7:20 These are not original Vector, vector 2 episodes. Fans of the game found a level editor and started making their own levels. In short, this episode was made by a fan. If you search on the internet, you will see a lot of custom levels.
There's really no left over in the game file for future locations or anything. This goes the same for both Vector 1 And 2. Vector 2 just abruptly end at floor 35 :( For funsies fact doe, on latest Vector steam version, there are some of the left over early iteration of Vector Lab's files in there too. I'm guessing this is around the time where they switched the game engine to Unity, which might have took a large chunk of their time too? This probably influences the change from Lab to be the Sequel game as well. (7:20 is a custom level by david stan, it's not official fyi 😅😅 )
It probably did, there was no way it was just going to end that fast, there was too many references to the matrix and stuff, like the doors in Downtown being labeled as 404 which means a broken website

In my opinion, vector 2 is supposed to having generic and tech stuff, clones when you die so, Nekki will never make remastered continue for vector 2 to return since remastered is added more contents to characters as far as i know. there's nekki members (who working on vector) as i asked community manager on discord about what's going on others concerned about vector 2 and answered themselves game is non-canon after game got deleted. An community manager said it yes as he knows (and can't share reasons. as only internal info) so, unfortunately for vector fans who prefers vector 2. Game will never returned
Dang that's sad, I knew the game did poorly but enough to be considered not canon is like being Dragonball GT. I'm still optimistic though I hope they at least borrow some elements from 2 to add to the remaster.
I really wasn't expecting to see anything about this game still, I thought this video was 10 months old, not 10 hours (as of posting) something really cool, vector remastered has a "coming soon" level section, after technology park. In my current run from a specific website I downloaded vector 2, Im on floor 73, but for some reason It continues smoothly if you do your run in the lab
I plan to, but not yet. One Shot is a really special game to me so I'm saving it for a special occasion like 50k or 100k subs, so that way by that time I've hopefully improved as an editor and a youtuber to make a video worthy of such a game.
Unfortunitly Vector classic and Vector 2 developer just left and canceled working and Vector 2 didn't get populer game yet and mostly the developers need a money for their tools and the project too, but as unfortunitly they didn't have such a money they don't have a choice only to cancel. That's sad honestly. 😔

Unfortunately no, the game was removed from the app store due to not being successful and Nekki is mostly focused on their Vector Remaster and their new game Spine.
Seems like….only for me the Vector 2 was the most funny game…. I still remember how I’m in car or bus playing Vector 2 on laggy phone, and I really like this game When it was deleted in play market I just downloaded it from internet, but now I have iOS and I can’t just download it…. I hope than one day….we will finally be free and happy

I am one of the few people who very much enjoyed Vector 2.. But i understand the complaints about the grind. It only really starts to feel good after you sank like 40+ hours into it and farmed enough high grade mods to absolutely break the charge limits (think 100+ charges on one wearable, it doesn't even show more than 20 visually actually) And i can atleast confirm/provide footage for upto floor 370 something on he world 1, but at that level the speed of the game gets so fast it's hard to keep track of and World 2 has weird lag and stuttering issues so it's really hard to play normally. Thankfully i never uninstalled the game from my old phone, so i won't have another spiderman unlimited issue... This game is so easy to give some simple fixes and make so much better
Honestly yeah I think Vector 2 is basically those, it gets better after enough time, which is why most people who loved the original gave up on it so early.

Uhhh i might be late but yes there is something on floor 35, its just that i got it by an "avcident" when i fell through the floor, it gave me a cutscene, but it had something lole [missing text] ans other glitches like so - Maybe i solved this case?
I personally liked vector 2 very much, it had entirely different game mechanics and was way more challenging in terms of gameplay, but they stopped working on it and there are lots of bugs and sht now

If you start at floor 15 there is no limit to the floors. I do remember falling out of nowhere during a run at the very last protocol but I couldve sworn I past at least floor 100 in subsequent tries. It's possible that if you start at a lower protocol then it would not trigger but can also just be rng if you get the generated map and take that path. I had screenshots of my longer runs but I lost them when upgrading my phone.
That makes sense I also believe it's because Nekki didn't fully finish the game that the maps have this problem. They just left it to complete RNG so you could make it to higher floors no problem, but there's also a chance for there to be just a random cliff.
@@Nekkodude Gosh I grinded the hell out of this and Shadow Fight 2 a long time ago haha. Before they added raids so I just beat pre-nerf eclipse May and Titan 50 times and if you've fought pre-nerfed May, you know how hard the fight is

Head Soccer btw is still SORT of up, but when you try to boot the game, it just doesn't work. Many games copying it style did came out tho, and the creators of Head Soccer made a game similar but about Boxing/Fighting, and its honestly a pretty amazing game, no pay to win, genuinely challenging, has fun gamemodes - its actually super underrated.

(2) Tank hero
(Both were mobile games that were in the app Store)
I also like to add Jetpack Joyride, Infinity Blade, Earn To Die, Angry Birds. The 2 games that i want to replay again are the Infinity Blade and Angry Birds Epic. I miss those games

Exactly since I saw someone mention that the Mother Factory is basically where all the Vector clones are being made, so it's possible there'd be more than one rouge Vector hiding out in there somewhere, plus we never get to see what's outside the facility, it's been 10 years since the first game so there had to be a lot of changes.
I somehow have this story item called “Decontaminating Agent” and I have no idea how I even acquired it in the first place, it has the description “Used to rectificate DNA” or put simply, to correct DNA faults. No idea how I have it.
You actually have to bring into the DNA fixer machine (I forgor the name) which is somewhere on Floor 35, but it was never finished by Nekki.

7:20 These are not original Vector, vector 2 episodes. Fans of the game found a level editor and started making their own levels. In short, this episode was made by a fan. If you search on the internet, you will see a lot of custom levels.

There's really no left over in the game file for future locations or anything. This goes the same for both Vector 1 And 2. Vector 2 just abruptly end at floor 35 :(
For funsies fact doe, on latest Vector steam version, there are some of the left over early iteration of Vector Lab's files in there too. I'm guessing this is around the time where they switched the game engine to Unity, which might have took a large chunk of their time too? This probably influences the change from Lab to be the Sequel game as well.

Technically definitely not. 9:23. In my opinion, vector 2 is supposed to having generic and tech stuff, clones when you die so, Nekki will never make remastered continue for vector 2 to return since remastered is added more contents to characters
as far as i know. there's nekki members (who working on vector) as i asked community manager on discord about what's going on others concerned about vector 2 and answered themselves game is non-canon after game got deleted. An community manager said it yes as he knows (and can't share reasons. as only internal info) so, unfortunately for vector fans who prefers vector 2. Game will never returned
Dang that's sad, I knew the game did poorly but enough to be considered not canon is like being Dragonball GT. I'm still optimistic though I hope they at least borrow some elements from 2 to add to the remaster.

Oh that was one of my favorites to play on my ipad, I never got far in that one, but I remember always wanting to come back to it and try to finish the story.

I plan to, but not yet. One Shot is a really special game to me so I'm saving it for a special occasion like 50k or 100k subs, so that way by that time I've hopefully improved as an editor and a youtuber to make a video worthy of such a game.
Unfortunitly Vector classic and Vector 2 developer just left and canceled working and Vector 2 didn't get populer game yet and mostly the developers need a money for their tools and the project too, but as unfortunitly they didn't have such a money they don't have a choice only to cancel.

@Nekki please launch a newer version of Vector 2, I feel there's a separate fanbase for this game i love that the fact in which the game runs with clones. Thats why I'm very curious to get the actual guy at the back end. Hope, it comes with proper justification to the story as well.

Unfortunately no, the game was removed from the app store due to not being successful and Nekki is mostly focused on their Vector Remaster and their new game Spine.

I am one of the few people who very much enjoyed Vector 2.. But i understand the complaints about the grind. It only really starts to feel good after you sank like 40+ hours into it and farmed enough high grade mods to absolutely break the charge limits (think 100+ charges on one wearable, it doesn't even show more than 20 visually actually) And i can atleast confirm/provide footage for upto floor 370 something on he world 1, but at that level the speed of the game gets so fast it's hard to keep track of and World 2 has weird lag and stuttering issues so it's really hard to play normally.
Thankfully i never uninstalled the game from my old phone, so i won't have another spiderman unlimited issue... This game is so easy to give some simple fixes and make so much better
Honestly yeah I think Vector 2 is basically those, it gets better after enough time, which is why most people who loved the original gave up on it so early.

Uhhh i might be late but yes there is something on floor 35, its just that i got it by an "avcident" when i fell through the floor, it gave me a cutscene, but it had something lole [missing text] ans other glitches like so

If it's like a full animated cutscene that'd be huge, but it's probably just an unintended glitch since the game was left unfinished by Nekki
I personally liked vector 2 very much, it had entirely different game mechanics and was way more challenging in terms of gameplay, but they stopped working on it and there are lots of bugs and sht now
I'm sure that if they finished the game it would've been liked more, unfortunately Nekki had to abandon it in favor of Shadow Fight.

(I DARE YOU CAUSE IT'S EXTREMELY RARE TO DOWNLOAD IT ALSO 98.5% PEOPLE WHO DOWNLOADED BUT EXCEPT FOR NEW APPLE USERS). but except for zinn antivo that he recreated vector lab on scratch and he used unused files and he should the secret on Floor 35 and he research it on his own debug phone
If you start at floor 15 there is no limit to the floors. I do remember falling out of nowhere during a run at the very last protocol but I couldve sworn I past at least floor 100 in subsequent tries. It's possible that if you start at a lower protocol then it would not trigger but can also just be rng if you get the generated map and take that path. I had screenshots of my longer runs but I lost them when upgrading my phone.
That makes sense I also believe it's because Nekki didn't fully finish the game that the maps have this problem. They just left it to complete RNG so you could make it to higher floors no problem, but there's also a chance for there to be just a random cliff.
@@Nekkodude Gosh I grinded the hell out of this and Shadow Fight 2 a long time ago haha. Before they added raids so I just beat pre-nerf eclipse May and Titan 50 times and if you've fought pre-nerfed May, you know how hard the fight is
