- Bobby Blotzer and Robin Crosby of Ratt in this 1985 interview for Sky Channel's Monsters of Rock show. Enjoy.
Has a weird aftermath looking at this video with the reference to drugs and alcohol as Robin Crosby essentially died due to the consequences thereof. Видеоклипы
God it's good to hear King laugh again!
Robbin was such a cool guy. R.I.P. brother.
And Blotzer's an asshole
Robbin was Ratt
" I've lived the lives of 10 men. Don't feel sorry for me, throw a party". Robin said shortly before his passing. He was ROCK
6 and 1\2 feet tall. How could you NOT Dominate the scene. He had the hottest women, the best song writing. And he was the only one who was literally trying to have a good time every show. The other guys were bitching all they through. Listen to Robins LAST INTERVIEW. YES FOLKS, HE LAID IT ALL OUT. He fucked he admits it first. But don't feel sorry for him he said. Throw a party. Rarevgeniune dude.
That's right!!!🤘🤘🤘
"It's the Bobby Blotzer group featuring RATT" It's like foreshadowing.
ZeeNasty I can't stand Bobby Snotzer
He could see the future!
Lmao thats what just happened right? Bobby was trying to tour, using the bands name but having different members? Lol.
I thought that was a little weird too.
Thank you for posting this. Not only was Robbin a fantastic guitarist (and beautiful) but he was a kind soul and a good man. RIP King
Ratt has not been Ratt since Robbin passed.
I second that
He died
I miss TV shows like this when we had real rock stars to watch and listen too. These really were some of the best days in rock music
RIP ROBIN,PLENTY OF ROOM 4 ALL,A REAL GENTLEMAN
What has come of Ratt these days, watching this makes me truly miss Robbin Crosby. He had a crunch that gave the band the metal appeal that went beyond the glam bullshit. Plus he seems like a gentle giant. RIP Robbin
The main part of the guitar was De Martini
@@renatohebeja2665nope. He did play most of the solos but Robbin wrote a lot of riffs too. And rhythm was always Warren and Robbin together.
"Lay it down" was one of the best videos ever!
Dang.. you can tell how big King is sitting next to those guys!
Robbins speaking voice was fantastic!
Still so sad about Robbin, Ratt's music changed so much once he was kicked out. His band members should have at least try to help him. But in those days it was all about excess.
God Damn I’m Baked Definitely should have tried to help him. Getting axed from his band certainly didn't help much either. Drugs suck... remember that kiddies
The only person which can help the addict/alcoholic is Himself!..
Believe me I got 4yrs clean & sober & I was a heavy drunk from 1985-2000 & a bad heroin addict (junkie) from 2000-2016 & no one could tell me anything I had to help myself cuz you'll stop when only your ready to stop. My god it's been a long time that I've felt this good. The only good that came out of it is my 2 boys seen what I went through & want no part of it. & my wife wouldn't touch anything I'm surprised she stuck around this long.
They seem like such genuinely cool guys. Such a shame about Robin. Wish it was possible to send that guy a warning. Truly said R.I.P. King
Carpentrov699 he got plenty of warning.
Carpentrov699 Hindsight is 20/20 sadly and often tragically
He didn't know Heroin was bad for your health, and that you might die? He never heard of AIDS and of the various ways of catching it?
Yeah, if only someone had just told him.
@@jimgriggs2184 Did you know cigarettes actually DON'T have vitamins in them!?
@@denizenofclownworld4853
I did not know that.
Robbin was so beautiful
His death, not passing
This music STILL inspires people to play guitar!
Joe R. Well said! Myself included!!
I'm one of them... Best guitarists came out of the 80s
I truly felt like I accomplished something special when I learned how to play the main Round and Round riff, it's a touch lose(haha) but I got the time down.
ZZTop was King's favorite group!? That's awesome! I just learned to love Robbin Crosby more!
me 2
'The Bobby Blotzer group featuring Ratt' that was prophetic
High school was fun...Rob as he was known back then was really a nice guy that knew where he was going!
I bet he got plenty of attention from the girls ..I know if he was in my class , I'd would be all over him
Good Lord Robbin was the total package ..he was stunning looking ..that hair , those eyes , and he was so tall and sexy ..he literally could have any woman he wanted with probably little to no effort ..
Robin was the reason ratt got so big.. the guy was so cool.. I also think he was by far the smartest one..
Beau Hill had him in a hotel across the street from the Studio when he needed him for mixing, etc. The other guys drove him nuts. Robin let Beau do his thing and interjected and helped in a way Beau liked. They both knew tracks/ideas crap until the weren’t. I mean tweaking the track sounds. Objective listeners.
Robbin was so cute..he said "absolutely" a few times
Agree
His smile and his laughs were cute and sweet
What a shame. Robbin seems like he was such a cool dude.
Seems like Robin was friends with everyone in the band. He's the type of dude u want on ur team. What a nice guy, just having fun. I love his attitude. RIP, buddy.
I like Robbin's laugh, cute :)
Rare stuff. Thank you.
RIP ROBBIN, WE LOVE YA AND MISS YA BOTHER!
One bad ass guitarist.
Nash Tex yeah he was! Awesome showman!
I saw that tour in 85 here in Florida. It was awesome !!
I saw them in Pensacola. Ratt n roll!
Robin uses the word 'absolutely' quite a bit in this interview, years ahead of it's time, when everyone says it today!
Robbin looked ashamed/embarrassed after saying ''we drink too much to get nervous''.
Ratt: a race car driver, a rich kid and 2 frat bros.
Ratt fuckin rulez, their my favorite band, i mean seriously they have some of the best riffs, they're just awesome.
I love their sense of humour
Robin was the man
“Anybody can rock n roll but only we can Ratt n Roll” Robbin Crosby ⚡️
ABSOLUTELY!
I cried the first time I wachted the story about RATT...
I wish they could find some footage of Robin when he's not wasted hate to see him like that every video they show is hammered sad such a nice guy
Blotz was always a closet New Wave fan. Ratt didn't know it at the time, but he actually auditioned for Dolby.
This was such a cool time in music, and such a great time to grow up. I wanna go back!!!
Robbin was so steamy. Snotzer was a bowwow.
wtf No one cares who u would rather blow
I saw Ratt with Bon Jovi that same year.
me too! Prolly the FUNNEST concert I've seen- and Ive seen A LOT of em.
That show made me wanna dance- and I really cant dance
I saw them in Lakeland Florida on that tour in 1985. Awesome !!! Saw them for the second time 5 days ago at the House of blues in Orlando. Most fun I've had at a show in a while. These two guys were missing. It would have been even better with them. R.I.P. Robbin.
Bob looks better today.
Haha what the hell is fashion rock? I'm with ya Robbin.
I’m just now seeing this, all I have to say is if u never met or knew Robin, u missed out.
One of the most Human, beings I’ve ever come across. I miss him terribly.
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Robbin really seems like he was a genuine nice guy. Even though he was a massive rockstar at the time he seemed to not have a big rockstar ego.
"we drink too much to be nervous!*
(followed by slight nervous tick/sign of regret about saying that)sad :(
1:02 you can tell he said something he wasn't supposed to.
He was such a nice guy who got lost and had no one to help him.
Bobby, trying to hard.. robins a natural.
And The Blotz plays a killer game of golf. Check out this incredible shot... Bobby Blotzer's greatest golf shot!
Summer of '87, RATT - Dancing Undercover CD, hot summer, hot women...good effin' times...thoe were the days!
I wish i.could have lived that...I was born the next year! Hahah
King...🚀❤️👑❤️🚀
I hate to ask a stupid question like this but what does Bobby say right in the beginning after Robin says drinking because Bobby points to his nose and says "more......?
Did anyone notice Bobbys finger gesture @ 0:18 when asked "what have you guys been doing since arriving in London"
"we're tellin' you it's ratt n' roll, instead!!!" 5:55
Robbin is 26 in this.... WOAHHHHH. I'm 29 and he seems a ton like my friend Austin. It's kinda insane, because 85 was the time to be alive for a 6,5 blonde guitar player, nowadays I don't even know if Robbin would live in LA
Would be great if someone could transcribe it, the texts are epic.
Robbin seems like he was stoned 23 hrs. a day
More like 24/7.
Very cool I’m gonna have to listen to that Thomas Dolby song
R.I.P. to ROBBIN CROSBY who passed away 20 Years Ago Today at Age 42
wow you read a book and you know everything....AMAZING :D
I miss the days when you'd see interviews like this on TV, naff chairs etc.
Robbin's loaded.
Robin looked like such a laid back dude.
So many jealous old men hating here 😂
Rockin Robbin
We drink too much to get nervous 😉
That interviewer guy looks like John Deacon bass player from Queen.
RIP Robin
Jon bon jovi is so mean when he says he had ugly girls in his videos!
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
3:51 what does Bobby say ? Not an easy thing to watch yourself
@DiCam3667 Totally agree dude!
even THE BLOTZ got laid , Out Of The Cellar guitar is classic for the ages.
It's Rat-N-Rolll You To Young To Remember When They Were Mickey #43Yrs String
Not too many can pull off the pirate shirt look,.
I notice how they're mentioning sold out headlining shows in front of 10-15,000 people. Now, like many other bands from this era, don't draw as much of a crowd anymore. I've always wondered...Where the hell did all the people go? lol
We got old, middle-aged, and tired. But are still rocking!!
Compared to Robbin, the interviewer looked like an 8 year old boy lol
It’s cliche but these days were so much fun.
Bobby Blotzer 0:19
Robin is in his own timezone again joking about drinking ;)
Stephen Pearcy's a badass!!!🤘🤘🤘
King was wasted lol
robbins face at 1:04 haha!
Yeah he was like uhh yeah
Little elf boots!😂🤣
Thomas Dolby!
Robbin was a man way before his time. A true artist. Man, it is so obvious of the guys *(this guy here for instance with the flat personality & goofy face, is very aware he sitting next to an Adonis of a man-who is quick witted, bright, enjoys what he’s doing as an artist-that must have REALLY pissed them off), in that group were turds and jealous of him and it showed. It showed 100%. Pathetic.
RIP. You were amazing Robbin. ❤️
WTF the interviewer is built like a munchkin 1:45 XD RIP King.
Doesn't help that Robin is pro-wrestler size
...That guy is really uninformed
As early as '85 it is very sad to hear the band members talking about all the beer they are drinking. Is that all they have to talk about? Drinking and more drinking and more drinking. No wonder the band imploded. No wonder they look terrible today because they could care less about the future. Instead of talking about music and instead of making dumb jokes, the band members should be more serious and take their job much more serious.
Javy C It's called rock n roll, loosen up.
.
Javy C I don't think any of us really take the future seriously.......
What fun is it being in a band then??? ha ha. I heard what you're saying but maybe the songs aren't as good if they weren't drunk and stoned writing them? You never but partying and rock n roll go together.
Javy C and they still made more money than you'll ever have!
Robbin is a disaster here drunk and druggin
@motleycrue24 He is very nice about everybody.......You said that he has a big and i said he doesnt that i think hes very actractive because he has a nice shaped face...And i would think that im a bigger fan than u! Ive loved them longer than u and alot of other people............would u cut the man some slack...
"The bobby blotzer group featuring ratt..."
Did robbin predict the future there? 😆
quit making ratt fans look bad.
Blotzer is hot as fawk - I don't care what anybody else says.
Well that's 1 vote for Bobby so far.
Black Death 1347 lmfao
@motleycrue24 ur rude his head is nicley shaped! and hes very atractive MR.GOOD CALL ROBBIN!!
Robbin is 26 in this.... WOAHHHHH. I'm 29 and he seems a ton like my friend Austin. It's kinda insane, because 85 was the time to be alive for a 6,5 blonde guitar player, nowadays I don't even know if Robbin would live in LA
