I just tried this recipe. The taste is really good. At first I thought it would be too sweet because the cookie dough was covered in powdered sugar. In fact, what I thought was wrong. Besides that, I also like the unique shape. My friend said it looks like a turtle😂. By the way, I bake the cookies in two ways. The first half of the dough I baked according to the time of the recipe. The results are like brownies. Then, I baked the second half of the dough for a long time until it was dry and crispy. Both were very good. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I've saved the recipe so I can bake it again for Christmas (or whenever I want it🤤). 🧡🧡🧡
haqimy ridzqy hi..sorry for the late response...did u make sure that ur choco dough is well chilled enough while making a ball and put “alot” of “powdered sugar” as in “dip in a bowl of powdered sugar” and dont make a lot of time making a ball, just set by set, for example after making 16 balls of dough coated with powdered sugar in a oven tray (make it outside the oven takenote) then bake it,the remaining dough put it again in the fridge ang chilled it again for a few minutes... do not let the dough over melt in your hand while doing a ball because that is the sign that ur sugar powder will melt in the dough ball while making the other...just make sure that the dough is not too wetty because it will melt ur powder sugar,chill it once in a while esp in hot weather... just a few minutes is enough☺️😉👍🏻
haqimy ridzqy or just coat it with granulated sugar first then coat it with powdered sugar. I did that and all of the powdered sugar stay and the crinkles look so much better after baking it.

Second time, used large eggs, (which recipe called for) imperial butter and Herseys dark chocolate bars. Eggs and sugar still did not get fluffy or look like the demo. Chocolate looked better but definately did not look like this demo (thick and silky looking) and mixed everything together, it was still dry but did not Look like the 1st horrible dry batch. Can you please share what brands you use for everything😁 thank you!

Hi, I tried and they turned out perfect. 2 secrets: preheat the oven. The dough must be as cold possible. I kept in the fridge overnight and did cool it down again before each load to the oven. This way the sugar will not melt.
Tried this and followed to the T. I think something is wrong in the amounts. Mine turned out dry as hell, could hardly incorporate the dry ingredients! Baked them anyway and they were like balls of shit. Seriously they didn't flatten at all (no surprise to me). I think the amount of butter is way too low or the amount of flour is too much.

You have to use a special powdered sugar

did u put baking powder in it. crinkles ate not fluffy, they are chewy
