I've been struggling with getting *ANY* trees to sway in the wind. I was surprised I couldn't get Unity's own built-in tree creator tool to sway after setting up all the settings that I have read should make them sway...
Hello bro! I had a question for you that I honestly couldn't find an answer from anyone. Suppose I created a prefab that is a tree with components, for example, it allows the user to pick its fruits. But when I give this tree to the tree brush in the terrain, the features do not work. I hope I can get some help from you. Thank you

Tree collision question. Nothing is stopping a designer from changing that collision effect of a tree correct? In other words, if it is a small tree, like freshly planted, could I make it where the tree could be knocked over or bent?
Can anyone help with mulitpule fassets. I was kinda dumb and put all my rocks and trees on the same scene on blender and they all got put into together in unity and all get add to the brush
hey, is it possible to paint single trees with this method? Some times it would be nice to have a little bit more control over the placement, but it seems that you have to paint at least 10 at a time. Am I missing some thing or is this just not possible?
Capsule colliders... on trees work for restricting moving through the trunk... BUT, not the branches. Any way to have a mesh collider instead so that trees are climbable?

I don't think this video adds much value. 9 minutes of drawn-out info related to what we can see in the inspector with a glance. If people need tutorials for THIS, they won't be happy in this field and should realize that as soon as possible.
No - if people need tutorials for THIS, it's because they're learning to do something they haven't done before. Everyone starts somewhere, and this video is for those people. Obviously it's not for you, and that's fine, but I TOTALLY disagree that if people need to learn something, they won't be happy in this or any field
i've been using Unity for years, but i've never needed to add trees before. I could have tracked down the unity docs, but this is great for an overview. Just because i don't know how to add trees in Unity doesn't mean i don't know how to program.
@@TheRealTimeEssentials This actually helped me as I'm new, and I thought the trees were broken when I imported them as they were pink, so thank you! I found this video after I searched it up cause like I said, I thought the trees were broken lol
Can you show how to make a tree from scratch to paint terrain with? I'm running into some issues with my custom trees made in blender like spawning upside down, appearing outside the painting circle etc
Quick question, when i first used the speedy tree's following your video, the tree's were moving by themselfs, so when adding the trees and moving around in the game, the trees moved as they do in IRL, but now with new projects they don't move any more even starting freshing and adding the speedy trees brand new into the project, they dont move anymore, is there an option i am missing?

im sure you've figured it out but if you hold "S" you can change the size and although the strength if you do want a better radius.

found out how. export the tree, then reimport the tree and put a mesh collider on the object.

An LOD is a lower quality version of a model that gets loaded when the object is further from the camera to improve performance

Try to find the asset pack called conifers, it is almost the same and has textures and trees
@@andypelogamer7839 Conifers is not compatible with URP, all trees are pink and I can't "upgrade" them.

For some reason, I cant do like you do with you camera...when I zoom in it starts getting heavier and I dont have full controll

You got to add a game object and assign a wind zone to it then all the trees will move.
any replacements for the speed tree asset on the unity store? It is no longer available
