What really hits home for me, out of Peep's whole story, is how his mom was so supportive and loving and cared about him so much no matter what he decided to do

It sounds like he had a wonderful mother, I pray she has peace.
She comments on Peep's subReddit frequently and seems like a lovely lady.
The tragedy of her loss is heartbreaking.

are you fucking kidding me??? She used him.. drained him. and played loving mother that let a 16yr old boy leave and go to Los Angeles with no money and no safety .. that isnt love.. that is "ok" will i get in trouble dont get caught".. I always found it weird that a bus full of people didn't notice he was dead, no one even spoke to him in 5 hours. That last tour with gbc was a bad idea. He would be huge star if he was alive today because he had that x factor that very few possess!

Take from this what you will.. But for people who are known as users of drugs like benzos and opiates. Disappearing for 6hrs isnt out of the ordinary. For everyone around him, things were probably normal as ever. Peep went to dose again. Probably nod off for a few hrs and then reappear. For a benzo/opiate user, thats completely normal. Peep showed the hip-hop world that it was okay to be vulnerable in your music - in fact, he showed how you can even profit off of that emotional vulnerability. He wasn’t the first to do it, but he helped to popularize that “emo rap” trend along with X and Juice. I remember listening to his music when I was in a dark place in my college years. Now today I make my own music for a very small fanbase after gaining to courage to pursue the passion from listening to artists like Peep. He may not walk the Earth anymore - but his impact remains and continues to influence a whole new generation of musicians within the hip-hop universe and beyond. I’m forever grateful for his contribution to music, this cannot be understated.
