sad asf mane, he was destined for failure at birth with bad parents, bad money, bad location, bad friends, its so sad to hear. he definitely did a lot of evil shit but the fact that he was destined for nothing more is trajic.
It's definitely a weird and surreal thing to talk about the tay k situation. He's truly a cautionary tale. He had a very troubled childhood being raised by gang members who really had no business being parents or having children, and being raised in an extremely dysfunctional and broken environment like that obviously affected him in very negative ways. Wasn't taught good moral values or good sense. And like many kids in situations like that he turned to the streets and therefore taught him to him embrace his worst tendencies and impulses. No hard to see why he turned out how he did. And as sad as his upbringing is combined with how young he was obviously its no excuse. Despite how messed up his life was he still had opportunities and was given chances. His homie killed an innocent girl and tay-k managed to get avoid charges, but rather than seeing that as a wake up call to change his life for the better he instead started to see himself as untouchable. In that moment he should've decided right then and there to focus solely on his music as a way out but continued embracing his criminal lifestyle. Dude got of easy being put on house arrest, but still refused to act right. And then foolishly took the route of short lived fame and infamy. Sure the whole race marketing campaign got him known but he'll never be able to enjoy that bit of success and its his own fault. He played a major role in both ending lives and destroying the lives of the people who knew his victims. And he showed little empathy it all seemed like a game to him. Took him a while to even fully realize the gravity of things. And even now I still don't think he truly understands. He's now trying to pull the race card and claim he deserves a second chance. Like sure we can argue all day about if his sentence was too harsh but at the end of the day he chose this path and was given plenty of chances to just do the right thing but he refused. I empathize with the fact that how he ended up this way isn't entirely on him, he clearly had no good influences around him and if he had grown up in a stable environment I have no doubt he could've had a good life free of all the things that lead to his 55 year sentence. I actually do enjoy a bunch of his songs u can very clearly see the talent he had. And I wish he could've actually had a real rap career, but I also wish that the people he hurt were never put in his crosshairs. And ultimately thats what matters more people's lives. Weather or not you believe tsy k deserves another chance or to be forgiven is up to the individual, personally I think he got what he deserved which is unfortunate but you can't live a bad life and expect good things to happen to you. But I do hope he finds peace within himself. And even though it won't change anything condolences to the families of his victims and may they rest in peace
He would’ve got off a lot easier if he just kept his ass at home when I was his age I’ve done more in 18 months incarcerated for missing school and possession of marijuana. When I had house arrest I couldn’t have anyone over
I fail to see how he "played a major role" in the ethan walker case.. he didn't have a role in the planning or the shooting/killing. only role he played was looking for things to steal. all that likely would have still happened if he wasn't there.. also, couldn't it be argued the 2nd murder never would have happened if he didn't already have life in prison hanging over his head for something he was barely involved in? I really don't think he would have crashed out the way he did if he truly believed he wasn't already going to prison for the rest of his life. I still don't believe he should be free any time soon, but I think there was a lot of envy and bias involved in the sentencing. although i think the law was passed after his sentencing, it's illegal to use lyrics in court. This may make him eligible for retrial or resentencing.
@@Wuqzto be honest if he did this same crime with the same outcome in basically any other state, he’d probably be a free man or definitely a lesser sentence, but Texas doesn’t play with their rules.
@@Wuqz he put a major target on his back by running from the law and trying to use his case as a marketing ploy for his career progression. And in that they certainly made an example of him but once again that's his own fault. He should've just stayed his ass home thats literally all he had to do and he wouldn't of gotten this harsh of a sentence. Don't know why he thought doing "the race" from the cops was a good idea especially considering how serious the case he was involved in was. And also even if he didn't plan the robbery or pull the trigger he was still involved and he never should have been there he should've told his homies "nah bro this shit ain't a good idea im good" but he made his choice he knew it was wrong but he helped anyway. And continued to get in trouble afterwards. Kid was in serious need of better guidance and this could've been avoided but it is what it is
The victims of the crimes he was involved in didn't get a second chance. Had he not been wanted would he have even been a success on the internet? He showed zero remorse and basically did what he was gonna do. 55 years is a gift.

He was so young and immature and having no guidance or parenting he was sure to crash… the court should have never him to his 18 year old sister who is also a child with no guidance… his parents failed him and the system failed by releasing a 16 murder suspect to his 18 year old sister.. he deserves every bit of that 55.. by the time he is released he should be mature and rehabilitated hopefully..
Or, he should have just been thankful he was granted another opportunity at freedom and took it serious. He now understands House arrest is much better then solitary confinement.
