The peep documentary really showed how a lot of the people around him were really what was keeping him down. The shit about him crying in his closet while people slept in his bed after a night of partying actually broke my heart
Who said peep was crying in the closet ? And why was he crying ??
@@getitrightnow4802 there’s a clip of it in the documentary Ethan was taking about
@@getitrightnow4802 you truely don’t know much about how they treated him. He was not a friend for them but a money source. His friends from gbc saw him nod off and even reassured the fans he was fine even though they even said in an interview they were worried for him and that was the reason they kept waking him up. It sad the fans care more about him than his friends
@@blank1778 Peep was used to doing drugs and if he keeps nodding off like he always does, it's not weird that many of the GBC didn't think much of it. I have to agree that most saw him just as a money source
@@maartent9697 nodding off is a sign of OD clearly they never cared about him when His own goddam manager and team was trying to help get him sober
His “snoring” was actually the death rattle. It’s a terrifying sound and if you ever hear someone doing it get them help immediately
yep. its amazing how ppl during that incident were clueless.... if dude snores and doesnt wake up then he is dying...
Stop the cap i snor like that every. Night 😂😭
@@thisguyisnuts9959 if you look it up I bet you won’t say that anymore. Sounds disgusting and knowing what the sound is makes it more fucked.
@@thisguyisnuts9959 snoring is literally the process of air not getting to ur lungs at a normal pace, most people with snoring problems need a sleep apnea machine because ur literally not getting enough oxygen to ur brain in ur sleep. just cuz u feel fine doesn't mean ur not suffering irreversible brain damage over time. snoring when ppl poke u after ODing is common, it's not a steady rhythmic snore, it's choking and ur body is trying to wake up and react but all u can do is barely breathe; so u snore like that
Crazy cause the whole time he was already oding with the rattle if they have gotten help right there he would of been live with narcane
Peep was the first artist I ever cried about. When he died, I quit doing hard drugs very quickly after and haven’t touched them since that day. You deserved better peep.

I’m actually so proud of you bro. Glad you managed to quit the hard drugs.
Felt like I lost someone I knew really well like a family member peep helped me through a tough break up when he drop come over when ur sober pt 1.
Imagine changing your life after a shitty sound cloud rapper died? That was the wake-up call that you needed? Pretty easily influenced I would say 😂
The snoring sound is colloquially known as “the death rattle” in the junkie community, it’s caused by your body trying desperately to breathe but being unable to due to extreme respiratory depression, and it sounds distinctly different from actual snoring, if you ever hear someone make this noise they need narcan and an ambulance immediately.
Not exclusive to the junkie community. It was coined to describe ANY persons dying breathes. I know as I've seen family members who died from cancer.
Just to add to what you’re saying
If you find someone ODing and they not breathing
Yea call 911, yea administer narcan if you have it
But don’t wait around for help to arrive.. give them mouth to mouth
As long as they’re receiving oxygen they’ll wake up fine
If you just leave them as they are, not breathing, or struggling to breathe, the chances of brain damage increases by the minute
Also, perform “sternum rubs”
Use your knuckles, rub HARD in the center of their ribs
When done correctly it f’ing hurts the person.. hopefully enough to wake them up
Cheers, hope none of you ever need this info
It’s good to know though
@@Meowface.this is excellent advice, I saved the lives of two of my best friends this way.
Aha that’s not a “junky community thing”, that’s just a thing.
I save my friends life my 2 friends came to me one night one was driving one in the passenger seat the one driving pulled up to my apartments and called me said he needed my help but it was different thwn usual he seemed scared or something but I was like man I’m jus go and I went and the dude in the passenger seat looked dead so I told the driver I’m leaving but I heard the dude in the passenger hit a ig breath like “uuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhs” and I bargained him and told him drive to the hospital when we got to the hospital he was starting to wake up and the the doctor said he had to stay there for 1 hour or 2 to be sure he okay cause he’s blood could’ve went down again

As someone who is a recovering addict to pain pills, Peep's death really disturbs me. I wasn't there, so I can't really point fingers at anyone, but I will say, my best friend is also an addict, and there's been NUMEROUS occasions, where he would just nod off, after taking large amounts of percs, and xanax. Every time he did that, I would watch his breathing carefully. Everyone with Peep on that tour, knew exactly what was going on. They knew that the danger of overdosing, was always lingering, and they were aware that Peep was taking a lot of pills. It's just such a sad, and tragic situation. He had such a bright future, and his music would've definitely evolved, and he would've gotten so much better as time went on. His music has saved my life. I tried to kill myself last November, and survived, and ever since then, I've just continuously, listened to his music, to help me cope with depression, and anxiety. I just wish he was here. Rest in peace Peep. Thank you for everything you've done for me.

@@retrobeans24 to be honest with you, I had taken a bunch of xanax and was super messed up. I barely remember much of it. I remember listening to Come Over When You're Sober Pt 2 while heavily intoxicated myself. Not only did I feel a connection through my resonation to the lyrics, but there was also this very eerie, almost disturbing background feeling. Peep literally knew how he was going to die. He predicted it several times, made attempts and even expressed his desire for it as he felt lost, alone, and probably scared. That album coming out after Peeps death makes it so haunting, as if he saw a genuine glimpse into the last day of his life - months, maybe even years, beforehand. Rest In Peace Lil Peep. Truly the King of Emo Rap
Taking pills at large quantities and random pills people give you at shows? I mean he basically did everything irresponsible a drug user could do. I had a friend who was the same way and you never understand why they do it, he did say “I’m not myself without them”.But peep really did create his lifestyle himself.
i actually listened to it intoxicated too and I thought the same thing. He mentioned in so many songs about how he would die before he got established in his music career and how he would get murdered (which technically ik it hasn't been confirmed but the math adds up) and its scary

I met Gustav at a house party back in late 2016 or early 2017 I went outside for a cig and he was just chilling on the balcony with a cup of whiskey😂 I was off shrooms and I didn't know who he was but he had this energy to him he felt like ethereal it could've been the shrooms but I knew I liked him before he said one word, we talked for about a hour or 2 (it felt like 6) we just smoked cigs and talked, he opened up to me I think he felt i was genuinely curious about him considering everyone was around him because they wanted something, he told me he felt out of control, like he was stuck on a runaway train but he did it to himself purposely, I asked him why and we started talking about ritualistic magic and the spirit world he thought he could see things on their most basic levels, we talked about how brands and products manipulate people and society can take away their self empowerment the more we talked the more I believed him, I was into magicka as a child but the feelings he talked about faded away when I got into middle school and it was due to me not connecting back with my soul, I let the world I was in take over instead of trying to take over the world, Lil Peep wasn't a great musical artist to me he was an insightful experience that I wouldn't change for any amount of money or company, I know we'll meet again and I hope we have more of a relationship next time around🎉

I was just listening to his music a couple hours ago. Long live Gus. Long live the legend Lil Peep. I still tear up when I hear some of his music because I went through the same shit. I also died but I was brought back thankfully and now I'm just living my life trying to stay sober for myself and my family. Dude is a legend and always will be. Didn't deserve to go out that way but I understand completely.
Yeah.....sure thing buddy. You went through the same shit as Peep 😂
Really how were you taking pills using needles ? If you don’t mind me asking
it’s still hard to believe he’s gone. sometimes i forget he’s not here anymore. it pains me so much
so tragic bro since im the same age as peep i feel like we could have been good friends... thats what his music does it opens you up to his world. RIP to the goat man.
he used to play runescape as well
We miss you Gus! Rest easy homie!
rip peep. he got me through so much. i related to a lot of his music. breaks my heart he’s been gone for so long. will forever and always will have a place in my heart. i miss u gus
That kept in line with drugs hit me hard. I didn't even realize it was happening to me. I was just so hurt by so many things in the world that I didn't even care. I shouldn't have just went crazy and let nmy guard down like that. Peep had no way out but that.
Drug addiction takes some of the best people away from us. It truly is an epidemic. I pray that if you or a loved one is suffering from addiction, please get some help. It has robbed me of multiple family members and friends. But you can do it. Stay strong and preserve.
People around him weren't his friends they were just trying to use him and get high. RIP Peep we love and miss you buddy!! Sorry for someone not listening
Drugs really fucking ruin people smh 😪
yeah and his choices
what
Ye it’s horrible
@@jays1ck066 it is his choice but then again he legit went through hell. I can’t imagine the stress and pressure he had to go through. He suffered every day and still pulled it off for everyone else.
@@pocko10 you’re right Ian mean to insensitive
Being an addict myself, I understand that ppl nod a lot so it becomes normal but extensive long time is another thing. Someone should had done something. Doesn’t matter if they are snoring or still breathing, their heart can stop at anytime. So sad what a great talent we lost 😞

the people seen him live is so lucky tbh i really wish i was there
These rappers need to leave these drugs alone 💔🤦🏾♂️
They’re not you gotta realize everyone goes thru shit man no matter how hard you try one person gets off em then another person gets on them idk if you remember this but when peep died all of SoundCloud had this challenge were they were pouring there lean, pills etc down the toilet couple months passed Tracy has a heart attack pumps still taking xans
long live lil peep long live GBC you will never be forgotten
what’s sad is if more people were aware of what peep’s “snoring” was, he’d probably still be alive.
RIP Lil Peep
U gave us more than just music…..
I miss you so much- we all would agree if u didnt want to be lil peep anymore… to keep u alive
We all will see u in heaven
he wont be there i promise
so mad and for what?@@egersislwtofagwn
I was literally jus driving behind a Beamer (a Z4 tho) and thought of Peep the whole time. Got home and this video was first on my recommended smh wild. RIP PEEP
“Snoring” while on depressants is actually called the “death rattle” by people who take recreational drugs. It happens when your breathing is suppressed by downers. It wasn’t snoring :(
Love the documentary just keeps getting more interesting keep it up!💯💯
That snoring could have been a death rattle I'm not sure i am watching his interviews up late he was still a baby so young talented and sad he hid his pain in drugs and was crying for help and they just kept pushing him and feeding him drugs thats so sad addiction is a disease we do recover RIP lil peep
MANY people are NOT aware when somebody looks completely knocked out sleeping, especially if someone is known to use substances and you hear “snoring” that sound might sound a little bit like gurgling and gasping for air, when that sound is often the sound of someone OD’ing from opiates. and often times it’s mistaken as snoring when in reality the person is unconscious and choking, which leads to unfortunate events. Spread awareness. Know the signs of an overdose. My heart breaks for peep when there were so many people around him and not one of them thought it’s odd that he wouldn’t wake up and was in the same position for hours. Truly baffles me
peep went so hard damn legendary artist
I still remember the first time I saw the report… and 4 gold chains being released later after his death and just fuck. The feeling was chilling and sad
It's so fucking sad that he was just starting with music he would be on top if he wasn't died. Fucking hell, you are the reason that i keep up, fly high angel.
this makes me hella sad cause i really love peep as a person, and as an artist. he was such a bright light in EVERYONE'S LIVES. and he didn't deserve the treatment he received or the cause of death he ended up with. i understand what it's like to feel so alone and tired of everything, but still hanging on for everyone else. i still do till this day. taking xanax literally everyday.... shit was and is still crazy....i almost OD'd like two months ago. and it was the scariest shit ever. i kept thinking to myself "i don't wanna die because i'm sad". this and juice wrld's life and death encourages me to get help.
Do you believe in God/Jesus I suggest you pray to him for help
I was 21 when Peep died.. 2017 was like a dream. I struggled with an addiction to benzos in my early to mid 20s.. Peeps music helped me a lot, same as X and juice. I had a bad feeling of impending Doom for Peep months before he died mainly because I was living like him. Except I didn't have the money he did or connections which gives you access to alot more drugs.. When the News broke he died I spent the entire day high on Xanax drinking beer listening to crybaby on loop.. that's how I spent the day when the News broke as well that X died except i was listening to 17 on loop... Juice Wrlds death hurt the most because he was the last true artist alive I felt truly connected to. Juice Wrld death also got me sober.. in 2021 I finally went to rehab.. RIP these beautiful souls
Incredibly sad, I got into Peeps music late, I have history with Pills & Drugs in general so I can identify. Still blown away by his music, lyrics, melodies, R.I.P Lil Peep & shout to GBC, love y'all's sh$t, again sorry about losin Peep😔😕🙏🤲👐🙌☕🚬✌️
Greatest musician of this generation, rest in paradise Gus, still listen to your music in 2022 and will continue 🎶
rest in *hell

I can never shake the fact that MGK stole his entire brand and look. I miss Peep
Yea and MGK even shouts out to peep in his song Glass House. Also to mac miller
MGK is a disgrace
@@HelloImMatt Agreed. I kinda liked him earlier in his career when he was younger. But this character he's morphed to is like....I can't even explain it. Hollywood influences maybe? And that spiked suit he wore to the AMAs and that hair. He's a tool.
@@infantrygrunt44 couldn't agree more. I'm an old metalcore, hardcore fan and I used to like Sleeping With Sirens a lot, MGK did a few collabs her and there and I thought he was a pretty cool and respectable guy... oh boy was I wrong lol
@@HelloImMatt ok
Bro your documenttries are insane, I love binge watching them, keep it up. Another great hip hop content creator. Thanks bro 💯
The fact that Bexey didn't know peep died and started recording him and making fun of him is actually insane
Peep was killed by his management and GBC, he was above and beyond all of them, a superstar in the making and one of the most beautiful people to walk this world, I still can't believe he's no longer here
I went to one of the last shows and you could tell he didn't want to be there
Arizona, along with pretty much every state out west has a huge problem with blues. This story is identical to one that I had. Even the snoring. I had a friend get in my car without letting me know what he had done. Luckily once I realized he was unresponsive I called the police, paramedics revived him. If someone had just realized what was happening sooner, this man would still would be alive.

The world has lost one of hits greatest minds in Lil peep. The achievements in science, math, computer tech and even public service all dashed by the greatest lost of the 21st century.
the people managing him didn't RESPECT him because he was so different. he brought in values they never knew beofre, they were not comfortable with. Shame on them. Promising and kind young man. i hope he is in heaven now. I REALLY wish he was still alive, genius artist
Rip lil peep, I wouldn’t make music or have the love I do for it without peep
Still breaks my heart that he's gone.
As a former member of the zombie crew you definitely know how much you’re taking and that is fine with you because you have taken that much abd more before. Its not a lethal does for a addict untill it is. I have went out and came back so many times i can’t count. Unfortunately sometimes some just dont wake up. Its sad but thats the life. Usually when you are taking that much and you’re at tgat point you dont care if you wake up anymore. Its like passive aggressive suicide
R.I.P and happy birthday Peep
Rip peep 🖤🙏🏽
Peaks you a real one
That video Bexey posted of him on the bus is soooo eerie. 😔 Ugh. To this day, I cannot fathom leaving your friend, a very important friend for many reasons at that, alone and drugged tf out for that many hours without checking on him. He didn't move an inch...how he was positioned as well, and how they all knew he was on a ton of drugs is mind boggling. Shady.
I don't htink its shady at all. If he was on drugs, all of them were too. When you are all fucked up like that you don't think about each others well being like that. You assume he's nodding out and will be good in a bit. Plus they were all pretty young at the time.
look up the song "letter to peep" by bexey
Real friends check and tuck u into bed. I’ve done it for others just like they did for me.
Ill never forget u Gus
