Back in the day I junkyard twin turboed my 88 lx. Ran 19s with a 14:1 fmu and volks/Audi cold start injectors in the top of the plenum activated by a hobbs pressure switch at full throttle and 5 plus pounds boost. It made real power but blew it's hgs out in pretty short order, hehe....
@@Neomustangs it did take a while in my case but hell, back then, hgs were just a common wear item, lol. I got so I could do a full hg swap before lunchtime.....

Dan I was cringing along with the Irishman while watching that AFR rise. Remember guys, 24# Injectors... even if you up fuel prerssure to 90-psi which increases fuel fow from 24# 's to about 35#'s. You would need at a minimum a 42# fuel flow at 100% Duty Cycle to cover 525-RWHP, otherwise you will be pegged Lean at that power level.

Hey Dan. The top port on the wastegate and the blow off valve are open to the atmosphere what you think will happen if I run a hose from the wastegate top port to a mechanical controller and out that controller to the top Port of the blow off valve what will happen
@@Neomustangs they were open to the atmosphere I hooked up a mechanical controller to the top of each one and my 8 lb spring I'm getting over 14 lb of boost now. And the boost comes in a lot faster and goes up over 14 lb I just tried it to see what would happen and that is without even turning the controller one click
@@Neomustangs it's always run off just spring so what I'm trying to ask is, with a mechanical hooked into the top ports shouldn't have force it to not go above the 8 lb spring it's like it tries to double the boost rate and comes in faster when I'm trying to do was keep the boost from going above 8 lb because this car is crazy when 8 lb hits this rear end LOL

My headgaskets intact no air in system and we made pulls after!

Hot wheels made 470/520 peak. But clutch was fked. We ended up doing around 450/500 settled in. It made good power
