Hello there!. Please how do i search for designs that showcase the different principles of designs like hierarchy, balance etc. In this video there was a place in which you were skipping through several designs online, How did you search for it. What keywords
You are a godsend!! For months I struggled getting into graphic design soooo much, watched soo many videos and took many kinds of advice from many amazing people, but never understood what graphic design REALLY was and how I could get into it before I found your channel not long ago! You are the very first person to REALLY help me understand everything I found so complicated! Your way of explanation is so simple, yet so detailed, and your demeanor is so friendly and comforting! Once I have the financial means, I will 100% be getting your course!! You are a really generous person and I am so very grateful to have found your channel! :) Looking forward to watching all videos of yours, getting more advice and really kickstarting my career with your help! :D
Thank you for the very informative tutorial video. I've learned the seven steps: #1-Elements of composition & layout #2-Layout program #3-Typography #4-Practice composition & topography #5-Photoshop #6-Color theory #7- Using all the fundamental tools Looking forward to learning more.
00:00 🎨 Start by mastering composition and layout principles through sketching and analyzing existing designs. 01:14 📝 Learn typography, understanding typefaces and fonts, and practice incorporating type into your designs. 02:08 🖋 Copy existing designs to dissect composition and typography choices, focusing on grayscale replicas before introducing color. 03:18 📷 Learn photo editing using software like Adobe Photoshop to manipulate and retouch images effectively. 03:58 🌈 Study color theory, understand color harmonies, and practice identifying color combinations in designs to use them effectively.
Your video was very inspiring! Being a self-taught artist and graphic designer myself, I truly enjoyed your tutorials, advice, and tips. I will watch and save all your videos. Thank you so much for being an inspiration to all self-taught designers out there! "You Rock!"
@@4TheCreatives Thank you for your motivation! "You are simply awesome and a great inspiration!" Looking forward to more inspirational videos from you . . . 🥰
Thank you so much Lauren for simplifying the steps of how to be a professional Graphic designer. The presentation quality in your videos is awesome, I really get inspired from you. 🙏😊
Saving this, thank you. I'm a writer, I've done some photography as a hobby, and I want to design book covers. I was with a publisher for a while, their covers were industry standard but not to my taste. Now I've taken back the rights to all my books and I'm self-publishing. I've paid to have covers done, but I'm not happy with the results. Will look into your course!
I love your videos and just paid for the course!!! I’m in the gym about to replace my music playlist with your videos lol. I’ll let you know how I like them! Thank you!!!
I couldn't find words to describe how this video motivated me, I want to thank you very much about your helpful, organised and simplified information. I want to ask about this tool you use as a pen and connected to your computer?
Much love from Nigeria thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge in Graphic Design. I want to ask when sketching the layout on paper are we using just shape alone
Hello. I just found your channel and so thankful I found your videos. Very helpful especially for newbie like me. I found my passion in designing but as of now I'm using Canva. I don't have other softwares yet. Hope I could find someone offering internship. I really love to learn more from professionals. Hope I could collab with someone.
That is so great you are pursuing graphic design! Learning the Adobe programs from the start is the best way to not rely on templates if possible. Before you get into an internship, I would suggest getting really trained in the basics of graphic design and the Adobe programs as most companies will require knowledge of both.
Here's a question:- I learned Illustrator first and now as mentioned in the above video which is incredible :) Can I start learning these compositions in Illustrator or start with InDesign and then Photoshop?
Developing your own graphic design skills can be a really fulfilling experience! 🎨✨ There's no lack of free online resources to help you improve your talents, including RUclips lessons, forums, and design communities. The ability to produce beautiful pictures from scratch requires commitment, practice, and a great deal of ingenuity, but the work is definitely worth it. Just keep in mind to continue being inquisitive, to explore, and to ask for criticism without fear. Have fun creating! 🚀🖌
@@4TheCreatives I study at the center and only use the tool, but the knowledge to create products is not much, so it is easy to get discouraged and give up.
Thank you!❤️ This is so important! It can be overwhelming not knowing where and how to start. On a second note, you look like Gillian Perkins (a RUclipsr) are you related?
Hello 👋, your videos are insightful, and i want to learn graphic design, but don't which which of your videos i outh to watch first. Could you please help align or put them in sequence . Thank you.
Hello Aurora! Have you seen this playlist? ruclips.net/p/PLdHyNrkiFQPpqq7KVp3yWaiH9pm3PIvg8 The best way is to take an actual course, because my videos are to handle one specific topic. You can check out my actual program here: www.4thecreatives.com/design
I really love the way you design. And I am really much grateful for whatever value your videos add to my design life. I really could have purchased a design course, but right now I don't have money. I also do not have any degree in design. I too used to search for videos from other designers. Until I found "4TC". Really so much helpful and Informative. Loved it.
I have never worked with Affinity or Inkscape myself, but I have heard from other designers that Affinity Publisher is similar. I am a diehard Adobe fan, so it is hard for me to go with anything else. But it is no question that Affinity is more affordable. Here is an article that breaks down the pros and cons from another creative site: creative-boost.com/adobe-indesign-vs-affinity-publisher/
Before watching this video I am planning to start learning illustrator, Now I m confused, Actually How much level of InDesign and Photoshop knowledge we need to start learning illustrator ?

This course subtitled? It is necessary to have an imac to learn?
I’m sorry it’s not yet!
And no an iMac isn’t necessary.
What are the devices you’re using at this stage of learning?
For the first step, I use only a pencil, pen, and paper. Then I use an iMac and a Wacom tablet to use the layout programs.
Before watching this video I am planning to start learning illustrator, Now I m confused, Actually How much level of InDesign and Photoshop knowledge we need to start learning illustrator ?
Illustrator is great for illustrations and logos. But those are more advanced levels of design. Start with Photoshop and InDesign.
