Did they have their own ramp?
Thank you for this information. I know where I want to go now. Went to the keys last. Now I want to check this place out thank you so very much. And another awesome video thank you.
Fish with your dad all you can. I lost my dad a couple of years ago. Like your dad, mine taught me everything about fishing, hunting, and the outdoors in general. Spend time with him Aaron. You won't be sorry.
Fishing with Dad is the best. I already love this video.
Couldn't agree more!
Nothing better than fishing with your son. Said the 74 year old.
🙏🏻
You're a proper gent man. The authenticity of your channel is crystal clear.
As crystal clear as the water he provides from. I’ve been watching Aaron since day one and look forward to every Monday and super stoked when one is put out on random.
Hey there A Aron, I'm a 59 year old father with a 28 year old son, and I absolutely love to see stuff like this. Treasure your time together. We all know how short life is. Peace my brother.
Enjoying life in paradise with the most important people in your life. Well deserved Capt.
That's defiantly your father, you both have that distinct giggle. Time fishing with family is time well spent Aaron.
It's a pleasure to meet your Pop's. There's nothing like a Father fishing with his family.
Appears that he did you well 👍☝️🙏 Viva Cristo Rey ✌️
Amen! Thanks for watching
I love dad and son doing things together, that’s how best life is!
You have a good dad!
Shout out to all dads out there who teach their sons fishing hunting, car fixing or whatever else you may be into! Your sons will be great dads and great men in our society! We need more of dads who participate in life of their children!
Some of my fondest memories are fishing with my Dad. I miss him. Cherish the time you have with your Dad.
“A Quarter For The Biggest “!!!!!
My dad used to say that to me when I was a kid fishing with him. Good memories of ole dad!! Awesome to see you and dad making memories! Keep up the good work young man!
Watching your dad flip under those mangroves, I could tell he has a SaltWater Soul. Great memories.
After years of watching. I was lucky enough to get to meet Aron at smokin tuna in key west. It’s not often that what you see is what you get. The definition of a class act. A memory I will never forget with my parents and I. The man embodies everything I love about the Florida Keys. Aron you make this world a better place and keep doing what you do. You make so many people have hope and happiness. Wish you the best. Thanks for the memories. Spear on brother
Can’t thank you enough for the kind words. Was such a pleasure to meet yall. Keep on keepin on! 🙏🏻
Fishing with dad priceless! Best channel on RUclips hands down. Memories made priceless 👏👏👏
La Jolla Resort & Lodges is delighted to welcome to you and your family anytime! Thank you for choosing to visit us again and allowing us the opportunity to contribute to creating unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!
I’m a Conch from Mey West. My dad would always take me to the Everglades hunting and fishing as a kid in the 70’s and 80’s. Those memories came rushing back seeing you and your dad!!! Lost my dad 17 years ago at 57 glad I found your video of you guys!! Brings back the great memories of Fishing(hanging out) w pops! New sub here! Thank you for sharing!
thanks for the mid week treat. keep living your dream
Nice to meet you Mr. Young, you raised a wonderful man there. He’s kind, down to earth and genuinely cares about people and ocean life!! I hope you all had a wonderful vacation!!😊
There is nothing more satisfying than sharing with your teacher what you have learned. I have had this experience recently and it was something very special.
Most genuinely kind person that I watch on RUclips.
Thanks for introducing Mr. Kevin to us.😊
Awesome! Nothing better than fishing with your dad. That place is amazing.
Bonus video! So cool to spend time with your dad. Memories that are priceless. I lost my dad when I was younger, would give anything to have the opportunity to fish or hunt with him.
That place looks super cool! I understand what you mean about that old style vibe. Florida is all about that for me in my memories! ✌️👌♥️
GOTTA be more stealthy when going for snook. They're not like snapper, pulling right up on top of them, along with banging the poles and paddle down on the boat is a sure way to get no bites. You also need to chum the mangroves with some of those live pilchards. Try crushing a handful before throwing, not enough to kill them but enough to wound them to where they're flailing, then throw your bait in on top of them.
Yea had a feeling, we snuck up on a few with still no luck. But learned a ton. We will be back! Thank you
@KeyWestWaterman
Looking forward to future videos of your snook journey, your videos are my favorite by FAR on RUclips. Keep up the great work! Oh...and I love Madeline's real estate videos, your comedic input sets them apart.
@@KeyWestWatermanSnook are more paranoid than a tweeker.
Always had great luck targeting snook, drums, and snapper with live shrimp.
If the snapper dont rob ya you're bound to get a drum or snook in no time. Trolling backwater channels all throughout the 10k Islands made it hard to have a bad day fishing.
One secret is to keep that trolling motor going, the thump from the amperage rush in as you kick it on from a stop will spook em.
Bonus Video day! AQUAMAN and family, outstanding. 😊 P.S. Stayed their last mini lobster season. ❤ great place
So nice watching you & your dad having a great day together
Thanks so much!
So good to see you are having a good time with family in this paradise. Thanks!
Love to see you back on the snook I tried to give a bit of feed back from my experience on the other video hopefully you read a bit and helped you
I read them all, I’ll be back
I don’t have any sons but my dad always took me fishing regardless if it was fresh or salt. We lived in KeyWest and up and down the east coast since he was a navy man. I have two daughters and both understand fishing because I always took them and even now we go bass fishing and catfish fishing. It’s a love and respect of the outdoors that you pass on when you take the time to show them. 😎
Fishing with dad is the BEST!!! love this video
Awesome seeing fishing with your father! Thanks for the extra video!
you vids are so relaxing, thx.
This just seems like absolute Heaven to me. Out there like that and fishing with your dad. Absolutely beautiful.
Love your content, brother been following you for a while. I grew up fishing with my dad down in your neck of the woods just lost him back in September make as many memories as you can while you still have him around it’s a beautiful thing take care and God bless
I look forward to seeing all your videos, probably watched them all. This might be my favorite, having lost my dad last year, he showed me everything I know about fishing. This brought back memories of my father and us fishing together. Thank you Aaron, love the channel.
Your small boat is just about perfect for this type of fishing. Great job.
Great to see you fishing with your dad! I grew up fishing with my late grandfather and my dad which are amazing memories! I'm now taking my grandkids fishing whenever I can which is much different living in rural West Texas!
Thanks for sharing sir
Most welcome
Super great video, fishing with dad and having lunch with the famiy, life is so precious with family.
Treasure the time with your father.
I was barely getting to know mine when he was killed in a logging accident. I miss him!
I treasure every minute, so sorry to hear that
So sorry memories are precious 🥲
Great stream with your dad! Thanks for sharing, Aaron
Thanks for sharing another adventure with is. Nice that you got to fish with your dad. I love fishing with my kids.
Great video,Aaron👍😎 Glad you went fishing with your Dad(how very special). Met you last Friday when we went Paddelin w/Madeleine!! (I have the Scout camper)! You two are as nice and genuine as your videos portray😊
Keep on living life 😎
Always an intriguing adventure from a 'Real pair to draw to.' 🤠
Glad to see you fish with your dad . Enjoy all the time with him as you can. Great video and eats of course.
Glad to see you back.
This guy is awesome, hey thank you for the video Aaron , really appreciated
Love the show always ❤️ enjoy your dad
Another great show, thanks so much. OFBs at work, enjoying it!
I just had my dad down in Florida too, I know for sure how much fun yall had! Great video as always!
Utilize the 3 P’s when trying for the snook… Points, Pockets and Passes. Current with the points and passes is always a plus. Good luck! 😎🌴🍹
I was wondering when the 6 P saying got reduced to 3. Never heard that one for snook, just foresight haha.
Hey, Aaron. Nice video of you n Pops sharing a family day. Nice to meetcha Mr Young.
Now, Aaron ...I reckon that i can now accept your current hairstyle ( ya traitor!)😅😂😊❤
So proud of you and the lovely Madeleine on your continued successes.😊
Hello Mr. Young, wonderful to 'meet' you! Aaron, that dinner looks delicious as always. The fishing was laid back and enjoyable! Have a wonderful week KWW Family! Thank you for bringing us along!
That place looks really relaxing!
Man am really loving this video your Dad is the best Dad Mr Young...trust mi i appreciate even greater #GOD BLESS ONUH!
I love exploring new places where I don’t have the first idea of how and where the fish are, or what the best techniques and locations.
If limited on time, I will hire a guide to quick start the process and get the lay of the water. I can be happy catching anything in new spots, and also learning where the fish aren’t. What I find really cool as a “Tourist “, is playing dumb and fishing in places where none of the locals will fish, and I have had some unbelievable catches from spots that nobody fishes, and I’m just a lucky angler.
Many popular tourist places don’t get heavy serious local angler pressure .
That resort looks like the kind of place that appeals to me and my family and friends, really appreciate you sharing your spot.
Enjoy some relaxation time with your people.
So cool to have your Dad there. Enjoy every minute you can find to fish with him, it goes by too fast.
Must also mention respect and admiration to your Pa! 🤠
Nice chance to see you enjoy one of the gorgeous areas of the Keys. I was in Key largo in 2021 and had a great time at a campsite. Wish you the best of luck with everything you do.
A large sliver and red Zara Spook is my favorite for Snook early and evening time! Have a blast and thanks again for all y’all do!
Nice video, and love to see you guys 😍 one of your fans Elsie from New London Connecticut 😊
Love to hear that! Thank you!
Wow, you really do an awesome job of mixing up the content! Well done, it's great to fish with family.
so aswome to see popps out there getting bent on a fish loved it man looked like an relaxing day in stanzfam neck of the woods!
Appreciate the content you put out! I spend March on big pine every winter and launch often near your place. Watching your videos get me thru till next march...thanks!
That’s awesome love to hear it
Resort looks awesome, definitely have to book a trip there. Looks like they have kayaks and bikes available to rent. Thanks as always for a great video!
Crystal clear water intimidates me, especially for snook
Aron I enjoyed watching your video a I liked meeting your farther he seems to be a great person but most of all he likes to fish tell hi for me thanks well I hope you all have a good vacation
Hey Dibbs, really like your videos, glad to see a snook try, I am on west coast of Florida and they bite well at night around docks with lights. Good luck and stay cool!!!
Nice video Aaron,very chill.🙏🏽🙏🏽
Pop NEEDS to talk more, what a handsome gentleman !!!!!!
Snook tip from Tampa Bay, live chum is your best friend. Get em fired up almost any time/tide. You just need a lot of bait. Additionally, rarely do I use anything other than a bare hook and 30lb mono. If I need weight I’ll use a split shot at the top of my leader.
Was just there this week, we fished the same ditch for a few mangies but the water was too high in the glades and the wind had floating grass all around flamingo and snake bite. Wasn’t the most productive trip, but we did have fun and catch a few. Love the videos! Keep up the great work!
Yo great vid man truly loved watching. Going to check that place out next time we head that way.
Finally a fishing video
Aaron, now that you have shown the great features of the Gheenoe boats, Gheenoe should offer a discount to your subscribers.
I wish lol
It's his family's business bro...its not like it's Freeman Boatworks
@@chris6054 KWWM is part of the Gheen family?
@@100GTAGUY go back 10 months and watch the walk through for the gheenoe build. Aaron was born in Titusville. Aaron and his brother built his original, OLD gheenoe together...pretty sure it's his stepdad who currently builds em. Edit; Yep, his stepdad is Sam Gheen.
Papa Young!!
Haha
Hi, Go drift through the bridges, pin fish and grunts are your friends
Thank you!
Some of my best trips were with my dad! Mosquito Lagoon was our honey hole.
Miss the days in the lagoon!
Nice man we just left the keys, stayed at Stockton island yacht club, ate food at the hogfish bar and grill and the docks! The tuna caprisse pizza was delicious along with a few delicious cocktails.
Easiest way to catch snook, hit dock lights at night! Live shrimp free lined or little greenie, can use little doa paddle tails also
I find snook are shy. If you can see them they’re really tough to get to bite. The other thing is you can present your bait 99 times and there’s not even a reaction and on the 100th time they hammer the bait. I always did my best at night. They’re definitely night feeders. Persistence , persistence , persistence ! Good luck !
That’s how it seems, learned a ton. Was not waste. Thanks for the tips!
Aloha. Snook remind of steelhead.
That’s a really nice day!
Free Line thought....
tiny split shot used by freshwater fly/nymph guys.
Family fun
Indeed!
Beautiful place
Used to go there as a kid every summer. I wanna go back. So many mangos off that dock.
Best snook fishing day I've had here in Belize was 9 snook and only 1 under 30"! Great video hope you get some one of these days🤞🏻
I really enjoy fishing out of Chokoloskee and eastward to the Keys.
"If i cant catch something to eat with a 150 baits , i got bigger problems " 😂 now thats the truth lol
Aloha. Your dad did you well! My dad was too busy growing up to take me fishing, but I took him out a couple times. Two mahi-mahi on a charter boat I volunteered on, and a couple slot reds off cedar key.
Fishing with Dad. 👴🏻 Priceless !
At 21:30, I'd fish that point in front of your boat where the current tails away from the mangrove island tip. Lomg casts just upstream from the point and let the current take your bait to the point. Try a popping cork to keep the bait in the strike zone also.
I remember the place having more trees. I bet millions have experienced true key life staying at La Jolla Resort.
Great way to grill fish, I’ll have to try it out on Crappie since we live in Kansas!
When you get your snook, make sure to take the skin off before cooking the filets. Must be the oils in the skin . Love the vid. 👍
TNX 4 VID LOL 😊
Popps motel in Key Largo was set up similar (Old Keys)….truely miss those times. Tight Lines 😎
Wait a minute! A vacation for you living in Key West is to go to Islamorida?
A short getaway yea it’s perfect!
