I could use a hand now and then. But, I’m a one man shop at the moment. If I were younger I’d take on all appliances. Washers and dryers keep me as busy as I want to be.
Chip, great repair. Thanks for the zip tie tip. Seven free laundry machines at one location is a great haul. Especially when they have mostly been easy fixes. At 20:53 in your video there is a Samsung top load washer with a glass lid near the front row of units that are outside. If you are scrapping that unit and are willing to sell the lid, let me know the model number please. Thanks.
I’ll try to remember to look at it tomorrow. Give me a call if you don’t hear from me. All those units are going to the scrapyard as soon as the price of metal goes up.
@@HarperandKnowles Thank you very much for looking at the model number. Unfortunately the lid on that machine is a different style than the one I'm looking for.
Yeah, and it is upsetting a lot of folks too! It’s about time we stop tolerating this craziness that is being forced down our throats! Thanks for watching!
They are 220v units made for residential use. In the USA 220 is commonly used to name a residential voltage appliance even though you are getting 240 split phase voltage. Thanks for watching!
@@HarperandKnowles Thanks for the information wasn't to sure and hope to see you repair your laundry center soon can't wait to see the video of it and you're welcome
These machines were terrible. Known for mode shifter issues. Mine failed after 5 years. I know someone who has their GE HydroWave washer last 1 year before the bearing went out, surprisingly it’s still running, but it has bad bearings for like 12 years, so that Hydrowave is going on 11 or 12 years with bad bearings. I didn’t know a washer with bad bearings can last that long.
The electronics on that engine are terribly bad, it gets damaged a lot, I'm tired of seeing those engines damaged just because of their electronics, because the coils don't fail.
Good job Chip ... I heard my train in the background Thx
Lol! I hardly notice the trains anymore.
Another great video. Wish I lived a little closer to you . I would come help you and learn this trade.

It is a WA50R5200AW if you mean the one right next to the stacked unit on the end.

Hey Chip, what year and make do you have at home? Keep up the great work
I have the old style of Whirlpool made about 2009. When one or the other gives up I will buy Speed Queen. Thanks for watching!
Hey Chip I have a question about those laundry centers are they 208/240 or 220 electric ?

They still out performed the machine they are making today. Thanks for watching!
