The color of street signs just depends on what a particular city/town wants them to look like. I grew up in Arlington, TX and all the street signs are blue. When I lived in Dallas they were green (which is most popular) and now I live in Irving, TX and the signs are green as well, but most have the city's name on them too with a stylized mustang horse drawing. In Louisiana I've seen some red street signs which looked pretty cool actually.

I do this all the time. I shoot videos of trains in scenic spots and when I see a photo of some interesting spot on Facebook with no description of where it is I accept that as a challenge. I can usually find any spot in the US in 10 or 15 minutes. I had a friend who posts photos of her back yard and from those photos I found her exact spot in Virginia, and another friend posted photos of a rainbow behind his house and I found his house in GA in about 2 minutes. Someone posted a photo one time of a locomotive parked by a street with cracks in the road. I had a suspicion of where it was and looked at photos and videos I had taken myself and identified the spot based on the cracks in the road. It's a fun challenge.

I clicked this because the thumbnail clearly looked like South Africa to me, because turns out I live about 150km from that location :-). Incredibly impressive how you deciphered that, especially for someone who may not have ever visited anywhere close to there! Have you ever travelled to SA? Really well done, great skills.

Hi from Sweden! Like this, not loving it. I like you moving around a bit more. This is just guessing, it should be more about Getting the feel of the place you're at. Bu, that's just what I like to see. Do one of Sundsvall and see if you like it :-) I effed up on that, and I grew up there...

I just made a halloween map named "a climate halloween". It is a map about global warming with more than 2200 earth-warming places like fossile fueled power plants, airports, oil refineries and more...

20996 on my fifth seed. Thailand with a visible flag, tropic double lines (Brazil), one in Sweden (From Norway so a rather dead give away but wrong end of the country. France and the UK for the remaining two, so a nice and practical seed.

Not sure if it's correct, but I've always been told/seen that blue signs are private roads. I live in Maine, US.
Take that with a grain of salt because it's possible it means different things in different states.

Maybe for your state, but here in Texas it's all up to the city, or county if rural. My city uses blue everywhere, and I've even seen red and brown here in nearby cities.

Who knew Wales sounded like that? It just feels so right for the landscape some how.
Are you planning to use the music for other adventures?

james monroe is a former american president, so that’s a big indicator for the US. you can get blue signs in america too, they change by city so it’s pretty to tell where.
