So unfair. What an amazing, happy, talented nutcase, taken way to early. RIP Roner, you are the DUDE. My condolences to his family, may his kids inherit his thirst for adventure. Can't believe I didnt know he was gone....
Maybe the kids will get a cool new Dad, too.

I loved his hosting style on Locals. His genuine integrity and honest heart really came thru.
I remember the day I heard of is passing. I was stunned. I took the day off, rode my mountain bike for several hours and just wanted to be alone.
Cam is a great host as well but I would've just given him his own show to do instead of replacing Eric. Just my two cents. I still dig the show, but Eric was what made that show what it was. Thanks for making this video. 🤘
It's crazy how many people miss him who never even knew him, myself included.

I used to drag race a motorcycle. Then I had two sons, so I quit. I grew up without a father, and didn't want my boys to.
He had actually toned the crazy stuff down. That is the saddest part. It was a routine sky dive. He had done it thousands of times.

I'm sure his wife knew about his profession/passion and the dangers associated with it. Im sure his family is happy he was able to live an amazing life and be remembered so well by everyone. Something no one in your family will ever be able to say about you.

Simon Jones but it’s what he loved and was passionate about your right it is dangerous and you have a chance to die but we can’t sit inside all day and be scared of dying. Just because there’s a chance you get in a car accident or a shark bites you while surfing yes you have a chance to die but it doesn’t mean we should not do it
Erik was my uncle and he loved what he did but he also loved his family and stuff like dying during a stunt rarely happens
