I also think Kroos and Modric won't be starters the whole season like they're used to. Valverde, Tchouameni, Bellingham and Camavinga will have enough time to play. The only signing I don't understand is Guler. Unless they plan on playing him up front on the right wing to compete with Rodrygo.

Valverde is a proven world class player who won everything, can play everywhere in midfield, right back and right wing. Bellingham has potential but didn’t do anything yet that makes him world class at the highest level yet

The thing with Bale is that Madrid isn't backed by Arab money. The only way they can compete with these clubs that can just throw money away is by being more marketable. Florentino understood this very well when he started the Galacticos era: if you pay for the best players in the world, the investment will make you enough money in marketing that you'll be able to bring more top players in the future and keep the cycle going. Being a Galactico is not only about being a top player, it means that you are expected to become a global icon, because that's where Madrid get their money from; and, in exchange, those players get the very realistic chance to compete for the biggest trophies every single year.
If he was that smart he would ahve known that taking msot of the income from la liga matches through individual tv rights would harm the competition and hence the marketablity of the league in the long run.

Kroos is the one on the bench. Modric was still amazing player last year and will still be this year. Kroos can be replace by Cama, Tuchmani, Val, easily. Hard to replace Modric.

8 is good amount if you watch madrid you would understand like next year modric and kroos are leaving and they are not going to be playing much, also last year when Madrid have 6 in the midfield it seemed we needed more like think about it we had three in the middle kroos modric and tchouameni and then played valverde at Rw and had camavinga at LB then we only had ceballos as the only midfield sub, we had a good midfield but also a crissis there at the same time where he could not sub any.

We simply don't need to resign Ceballos when we are bringing in the likes of Bellingham (and guiler, even after Perez said that they were done signing anyone else...) All of this for mbappe. A incredibly fantastic player but even he couldn't make it past the group stages/quarters of CL. We need depth now, not star power! We even bought Endrick who will get here next year. Even though I wish we got rid of kroos at this point. Then there’s camavinga, tchouameni and valverde. Then on top of those 6 we went out and stole arda. Making that 7 even with getting rid of Diaz and and ceballos. It’s really just poor planning. Plus I doubt Diaz or ceballos sees the field now, especially with the addition of guler (if he’s not loaned). Please make it make sense 🥺
