  • I know I review a lot of apps that help you edit videos and make motion graphics, but I want to show you what I REALLY use to make animations, often in explainer videos. It's called Apple Motion, and it's amazing! Apple Motion is a Mac App that lets you create animated imaging effects in real time for a wide variety of video and film projects. In this video, I'll show you some examples of what Apple Motion can do.

    Thank you for making this point! I've never understood why Motion isn't more popular. It's such a great piece of software.

    I've worked in TV for many years as a weather forecaster here in Boulder, Colorado and I have always been responsible for my own graphics. I have used Final Cut extensively but never Motion. Jen, you are really great at explaining Motion and letting your audience know everything about this product. I really appreciate your approach. You are very easy to follow in you teachings. Much respect for you. I will look for all of your tutorials. Thanks again for all of the great work you do. Yes, I am now a subscriber, and I have happily LIKED your page. 🌞

    Thanks Jen.. I have it already but have not had the time to learn it yet… I am still a baby with learning FCP x. I will integrate motion at some time in the near future and will for sure be checking out you clips.

    I haven’t used Apple in over 10 years. I just bought the Mac studio. I loaded it with 64 gigs of ram 24 core processor and 60 core graphics card. I’m using final cut right now and looking forward to purchasing motion. It’s good to be back.

    Jen always has great info and gives it in a much better way than most RUclipsrs, with real examples and an explanation of what she's doing rather than just showing you. I took her FCP RockStar course and couldn't have been more pleased with it. I haven't taken the Motion course yet, but if it's half as good as the FCP RockStar course, you can be sure that you're getting your money's worth!

      I bought Final Cut Express back in the 2000's, and then Final Cut Pro. But since I could not find anyone to give good explanations on using it, I always reverted back to iMovie. It was Jen's Final Cut Pro Rockstar course that finally got me to use FCP and I have not even opened iMovie since. Gotta give credit where credit is due! Thanks Jen!

    Thanks for all your videos. I find them to be honest and insightful. I'm still a beginner when it comes to video. I'm creating a channel on YT and will probably start by using iMovie. I want to create a still avatar, but I want to create a circle background behind the image that beats to the audio track which should add a little motion for interest. I see that Apple Motion can create the background circle with Motion that I want. My question is... can the Apple Motion be saved as an MP3 file and imported into iMovie? If so, how is that done?

    Hello there, MThanks for this video tuto. Can I import an .mp4 video that I edited using iMovie to Motion then create my graphic effects. I don't want / need to purchase F.Cut. It seems logical to be able to do this but is tech possible in terms of compatability ? MThanks

    I'd probably use Motion more with FCP if Apple re-introduced round-tripping. Like the old days...

      “Round-tripping”? 😮
      I have to figure out what that is or was.

    • @martinXY
      @martinXY 18 дней назад +1

      @@MixiMera FCP, Motion and Soundtrack all played together. Right click on a clip in FCP timeline and select “open in Motion”, and that clip would open as a full project in Motion. Do whatever you want to it in Motion as a full project, close it, go back to FCP and it’s there on the timeline as a .motn clip. Need to edit it again 8n Motion? No problem. Right click and pen it again, close and go back to FCP. Round and round you can go. Same thing for audio files in Soundtrack and FCP.

    Sounds great, but I wouldn't buy a Mac. As good as it may be now, their anti-repair policy makes it a deal breaker.
