In my opinion, it is one of the best cases ever produced by Apple especially much better than the leather one. When the leather wears out, you have no choice. When it gets dirty, all you have to do is clean it gently with a toothbrush and a little water and soap. After it dries, it looks like the first day. And on top of all this, the button sections are very useful. It was the clear plastic one I used before but it added weight to the phone. This one is completely useful. Especially in Pro Max, you will feel less weight and it will feel more sleek in your hand.
Honestly I think it looks to visually age similarly to leather based on what you’re showing here. Certainly not as nice it isn’t a leather replacement but I don’t think it looks horrible when it hasn’t been cleaned. It has areas of wear just like leather and I honestly think that’s pretty cool. They certainly need to update it next year, both the materials and QC, but I do think the hate is overblown.
I have mine in mulberry and I must say this case is nice I don't get the hate. I agree it's not worth 59$ but it doesn't mean this case doesn't have a character and it's terrible. It's lighter and thinner than the silicone one and the buttons are super clicky. I feel like with thus case they gave us the character the leather case didn't get for the last two -3 years which everyone was complaining about. It wears like suede and that is similar to the old leather case.
For the price & lack of durability I went with the Andar Aspen for my leather case. Great magnets, quality, customer service, & they’re always doing sales

That said, it's overpriced yes, and you can find much better options. Would I recommend it? No. Does it deserve the amount of hate it has received? Seems over blown but understandable with how Apple marketed it as a replacement for leather.
For people, who think, that it’s an awful case. My wife is using same case since the iPhone 15 release and it looks twice better. So it’s depends on usage. And as you can see, it’s still possible to clean.
Same here! Cleaning by soft bristle brush and dish washing soap. I like the aging and its look of darkening. Though its not for everyone but I’m contented tbh
@@rbfndzsame! If it were leather, the wear would be called patina and valued. It’s got a nice worn in look and the feel is soft and nice to touch. But others will prefer different things so it’s nice to have options
Many people enjoy complaining just for the sake of it. While the case may not quite match the quality of leather cases from the past, it's not as terrible as it's often portrayed. I personally chose the silicone version because I've always preferred its feel over the leather option. Even though I'm not particularly interested in this case line, I appreciate your video and hope it encourages people to watch more "open-minded" content and stop acting like morons
I had this case in brown for a week and since I work at a construction job my hands get dirty and when I tell you it went from brown to black within days I cried cause I can’t get rid of it 😭😭
Went to the Apple Store 2 weeks ago and you could see all the scratches people have done on the display as they don’t trust it lol. Worst case Apple has ever launched. Synthetic leather next year i bet lol
Why don’t they make both . I rather have the woven case then the leather case . I have how my leather cases felt after a while like they always feel dirty for some reason
I just cant get over how microplastic fibers are better for the environment than leather. Of course both have processes that pollute differently during manufacturing, but i can’t imagine these fibers going anywhere in the next few hundred years.

Y la trasera muy sucia (como una de las anteriores de piel tras 2 años), y eso que soy diseñador!!! no trabajo con elementos como grasas, líquidos ni elementos que puedan ensuciar. ACABO DE LLAMAR a APPLE y tras enviarle las fotos me dicen los ingenieros que ES POR UN MAL USO (culpa mía) y no tengo devolución ni reemplazo POSIBLE!!! 😤
