Shapeshifters or family are usually responsible for socket sets , hammers , drill bits & Allen wrenches being gone when you need them. 😆 Trying to do stuff while fighting the Crude can be difficult. It is best to walk away & come back later with a fresh start. I've done it a bunch in last 2 weeks. Nice vice & should help a lot. Take care & stay safe. 👍 🙏 🇺🇸
Thanks Bill I appreciate it hope you're feeling better soon. I have just had one of those days where nothing high have done and come out right today LOL
@@HamiltonOutdoors I had same issue yesterday. Had a limb laying on the power line from pole to house & too stubborn to ask my son for help tried cutting limb with a pole saw which was only long enough to cut part of it. So I got the chainsaw & climbed around the hillside to cut it closer to tree. Got the saw pinched & didn't have strength to get it loose. After cussing & calming down took the pole saw & cut the chainsaw loose. Called it quits & had to rest while laughing at myself. Forrest Gump said " 💩 happens "
Nice ..sometimes vices can be a pain to mount I've found that when there's a structural piece in the way ...use a lag bolt instead of a bolt and nut ...way quicker and works great 👍
Rob, other ‘’you tubers’’ would have edited out the negative moments. But you left them in so the average working or retired person could see that it’s not always ‘’easy, peasey’’ to install something & mistakes & frustration is all part of life! Thanks for your honesty! Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours. 👍🏻😁🇺🇸
Mornin Rob!! Hahaha. Sorry for troubles man!! I just put a coat of sealer on my "drill press bench" so I pulled the vice off. Never liked the sq head bolts I choose cause I couldnt get them tight enough. Anyhow. I replaced it with lag screws after coats dried. FIRST USE, I tore vice off!!!! 😢😂😮. In middle of my project I had to re mount the vice!! Vice is a MUST HAVE for any hobbiest useful no mater what ya tinker on!! I have a video on a 25$ Harbor Freight vice that I LOVE on my RELOADING bench! SO SO SO HANDY!! Yes ya need a "BIG" one and a few small to be ultimate handy. Good video! Coffee time here! 25° this AM.
I probably would have just used 3 bolts and left the other one in for looks lol! sometimes what seems will be easy, AINT! Nice lookin vice and heavy duty! bet you will get years of use from it! 👍 Happy Friday
Worse piece of junk I ever bought. Lead screw was loose, front jaw was loose resulting in jaws not closing evenly. Who coats over a vice anvil ? Nothing more than an ultralight duty hobby vice. I sent mine back to Amazon the same day. Hopefully you're having luck with yours.
I have been needing such a vice ! I just didn’t know it till now.
Could have brought it to the edge and used a lag bolt and run it right in the 2x4 it would have been extremely strong

Very nice Rob , Hope it servers you well for many a year !🤠
It would be stronger if you used lag bolts and mount it to the 2x4 frame of the bench

I’m sorry that was so frustrating, but thanks for not trying to make life look like a fairy tail. That should be handy.

Yeah mine has been fine but I use it for light duty gun repairs
