One version of the Polish tankettes TKS had a 20mm. cannon, which was effective against German tanks during the invasion of Poland in 1939. Unfortunately, there were only 25 vehicles of this version.
we should revive these tankette armed with anti tank missiles, they still pack a punch, can out maneuver MBT, and cannot be kill with small arms like Toyota.
Where’s the asu 57? Edit: so apparently this was originally for ww2 tanks only but they added the Wiesel in so they later edited the title into “ever built”
About the TKS tankette funny how you claim it was "useless" The 1st Polish Tank ace was with this Tankette en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmund_Roman_Orlik The en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TKS you wanna look up, had a 20mm automatic AT cannon.
"10 smallest tanks ever made in world war 2" wiesel 1 was ordered in 1974 and fully delvired in 1977 im not sure where the maker of this video is coming from but i would hardly gues USA? xD
You are absolutely wrong about the Polish tanketts. The HV 20mm armed model did very well against German tanks during The Invasion. See Dr.mark Felton's the pole vs the prince.
"Smallest tankettes ever built in WWII" Wiesel 1: Introduced in 1979. If the Wiesel made it into the list, why is the Renault FT-17 (from WWI) not included?
Look into Japan, another user of tankettes. Their Type 97 (1937) tankette looks like a tiny tank, but carries only two men. 618 were produced. Mostly used for convoy protection, it could also tow a trailer for resupply missions. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_97_Te-Ke_tankette
Что мешало применить рациональные углы наклона брони и вынести двигатель за заднюю ось привода гусеницы и применить разные варианты лёгкого арт вооружения с возможностью зенитного огня?

I think there was one of these Tankettes that destroyed a panzer 4 and 2 panzer 3s in one battle.
It was funny, there is an award named after the captain of that tankette you could obtain in a game, it was either world of tanks or war thunder.
WoT only for now@@person732
the Panzer was commanded by a very valuable person as well, and for the whole campaign Roman Orlik destroyed around 9-13 enemy tanks
200mm actually, according to Yarnhub

Q
Already done. It's called Wiesel.
I agree more tankeet for every country not just germans
@Ž Š
You think soldiers on foot would be able to carry more ammo
Just weld or tape some armour plates to a car and strap a 50 cal or sumtin and boom you have a tank
Where’s the asu 57?
Edit: so apparently this was originally for ww2 tanks only but they added the Wiesel in so they later edited the title into “ever built”
The asu57 looks way bigger than Wiesel, so should probably replace one of USSR models.
@@Fill256 What no? The asu 57 is only 3 feet tall (with shield up) while the wiesel is 6 feet tall. Its way smaller than most things here
Other tankettes: "It was..."
Wiesel: "It is..."
What about the Japanese Type 94 tankette, it should've been on this list.

The script was changed halfway through to ad the Wiesel
next, list of smallest missile warship, please, please, pls!
The 20mm equipped TKS were known as Cockroaches
If you're gonna put the Renault UE, than the Bren Gun carrier should've made the list.
Agreed, as your point is that the Renault was not a tankette.
Can make a video about top 10 most powerful hand grenade
Why is the Renault in the list, but not the Bren Gun Carrier?
Because it is not a tank...
@@ferenckonya8593 The Remault is not either.

6:18 they did tho because this tank took out multiple panzers in a single battle

Wiesel 1: Introduced in 1979.

Not small enough, i guess
please do vedio on top ten fastest hypersonic cruise missile in development or in military use
The Renault UE was an armored tractor, not a tank.
Basically a tankette is a tracked jeep.
Every single one of these was based on the Carden-Lloyd carrier.
Nr.8
Ah yes "WW2" Tanks
?????
@@SUNNYSTARSCOUT365 It‘s form the coldwar
Renault FT and MS-1?
They forgot about the MIAS/MORAS
i was expecting that one man tank in the trenches

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_97_Te-Ke_tankette
Most of tankettes can do that. But Japanese specifically did that because this machine was more obsolete than any Italian tank in WW2.
bro forgot the Kugelpanzer
you totally missed out the bren carrier.
Not a Tank
Визель из всех танкеток самая рациональная! Хотя все эти решения были возможны ещё в 30 е годы!
British deployed Vickers Mk VI A, B &C light tank series in Europe & North Africa
i feel like i would destroy it with sling shot lol...but they are kinda cute
The german wiesel 2 is still in use and armored till 14,5 mm antiarmor rifles!
compare tankette from 1920 with 1 machine gun and tank/tankette from 1970 with 20 mm gun…???
Not fair
Is Russia equal to the USSR? Well done!😄
Why do they use Russian flags for Soviet tankettes?
@@IVANGROZNEY Because morons. The wings of the Russian empire were even different.

The L3/35 is still used by Afghanistan today. They have at least one in service, possibly more.
cv-35 is a Hungarian sign. :)
35M ANSALDO, this is how the hungarian army called this tank. We bought from italy (and produced) about 150 of them.

yeah, it came out in 1980 or so^^
Interesting, but why show the Russian flag or the Soviet Union?
How is the "wiesel" an amphibious vehicle? This channel has heaps of mistakes...

Танки советские, а флаги имперские. За такое вас бы в СССР расстреляли))

using current bundeswehr vehicle in ww2 video too
